A bit disappointed with the Cosori but it does work. I think I need to build an enclosure around it with only the front open.

I've had Cosori for 5 years and it does maintain the temperature. it won't stay at 230 or what ever temp you set it. that doesn't work. never did. I called support and she said it only shows the temp of the plate. that's what it does maintain the temp in the cup. and after awhile it drops. right now my half cup of coffee is 138 in the cup. the plate says 189.7. and it slowly drops. That's why they give you a lid to keep it hot. So it is not the best. Looking for one that gets hot and stay hot

So from your tests it appears that neither of these keep the drink anywhere near the temperature you have set on it? I really would have been more interested in how well either kept the drink at a set temperature. I like my coffee at 130 F - can either of these keep my coffee at that temperature exactly?

Only a tin cup works with any of these mug warmers. No one ever mentions this.
