🌿 Green Warriors🌍
Our intern, Mahnoor, recently led a series of impactful environmental activities in Tando Jan Muhammad as part of the Climate Action Pakistan initiative. The activities aimed to engage students of various age groups in understanding and appreciating the environment:
1. Guess the Environment (21st May, Citizen School): Targeted at 4th graders, this interactive game helped students identify different environments and objects, enhancing their observational skills in a fun and engaging way.
2. Drawing Competition (22nd May, Standard Public Secondary School): 10th graders expressed their creativity on the theme of "Green Atmosphere," raising awareness about planting and environmental conservation through their artwork.
3. Planting Activity (24th May, Citizen School): Students of different classes participated in a hands-on tree planting session, learning how to care for saplings and contributing to a greener school environment.
This initiative was part of our Climate Action Pakistan Summer Internship program, which we offer yearly in celebration of World Environment Day. This year’s theme was land restoration, with interns across the country working on projects that promote sustainable land use and environmental awareness.
These activities fostered environmental responsibility and creativity among students, while also promoting practical engagement with nature. Mahnoor’s dedication to educating young minds and her hands-on approach have made a lasting impact!
