Hey I have a problem if you can help me I have a 1971 Ski-Doo TNT 640 I got the sled running and it ran great but the other day I was ridding it and it just stopped and I looked gas was leaking out of the carb where the air filter goes so i took it apart and it still leaks out gas when i pull the engine over do you have any idea the carb is a tillotson HD20A hope you can help me out thanks

+Crazy Gaming Mike sounds like the carb needs to be redone. A tiny amount of carb spitting (gas) is normal. If the is gas spilling out the carb mouth, I know of only three reasons why this could happen. 1 - Welch plugs not sealing correctly (unlikely), 2 - Nozzle check valve is bad usually does not go bad from one day to the next), 3 - Needle and seat is bad ... or dirt is hindering the good operation of the needle and seat. My bet is on number 3. I hope this helps you. If you have no experience with these carbs, maybe find someone who does. They can be finicky at times.
