My plan for the Garbage truck body is to mate it to the AMT Mack DM600 kit. I’m originally from New Jersey and our Garbage company was a company called BFI. They were navy blueish units and were mostly Mack cabs, DM and R series.

The "flickin flacker" at 4:06 is the blade. It goes inside the main body with that wedge part down and facing rearward. The big hydraulic cylinder mounts to the front side of it and is used to push/eject the load when dumping. The next 2 big pieces are the slide/sweep, 5:10 & 5:31. They attach to each other with a hinge point(5:23/5:38) in the middle. One piece sits in the guide rail molded in the rear tailgate portion with 2 cylinders to move it up/down that guide. The other moves back and forth, with 2 cylinders between it and the guided piece, to sweep trash from the hopper up into the storage area of the main body. The winch is for emptying rearload dumpsters. More modern realoaders use a hyd. cylinder as the winch instead of the drum winch. Residential rearload operation. Had commented that the Czech photo etch guys CTM (I don't FB) really NEED to do the AMT Ford L sheet addressing the kit atrocity grille especially - agreed? The emblems, details included, but that grille is unuseable. Plus real stamped one looks like a big PE. Always great going over truckin stuff with ya, the varied interest gives tips on where to spend my $$. Hope you have continued health improvement and keep on truckin' !

That looks like an old RNK tool box.

They were but RNK had round handles and no door line scribed in. I sanded off the round handle, cut a recess into the door and put in the square handle. I then scribed around the outside to simulate a separate door.
