Hi Ben, thanks for another great conversation about trucks. I have the same addiction, models and trucks. Right now I am healing from a stroke that came two days before Christmas. So I sit here looking at all my model stuff yearningly! I'm doing good but got a ways to go before I can trust my left hand to do what I want without totally destroying my creations. You kept me entertained and lifted my spirits while in the hospital for weeks. So your videos are VERY much appreciated.

I suffered a stroke back in 3/22. It really messes you up! Prayers for you to recover quickly!!

The Brekina 1/87 Peterbilts came out pretty nice. I'm gonna pick up a couple of the 281's. Bob Johnson from Masterbilt is a great asset to the HO community and friend. Enjoy your vids.

I'm 50. I used to have a poster of the truck Stage Coach in my room as a kid. I built an AMT 1/25 scale of it at about 15 years old. I still have that truck on the shelf. It doesn't exactly match, as buy the time I built the truck, I had not had the poster for some time. Its still my favorite truck. I wish we had these diecasts when we were kids. i would have run the wheels off of them. I made a career as truck driver (life dream for me), and absolutely loved my career with zero regrets. Didn't get rich but sure felt like I lived. Retired now, miss it sometimes, but ATS scratches that itch. A link in the description to where you find these things would be very helpful and appreciated.

The link thing is a good idea! I’m still learning on here but I’ll figure out a way to do it. Thanks for watching!

Great video love all the different scales. Could you please post the brand names of those trucks. Thanks

Hi, the little 1/87 Peterbilt is made by Brekina. The 1/43 yellow Peterbilt is made by a company called IXO. The 1/43 Duel Peterbilt is from a company called Altaya.

Ben I remember the stag coach poster myself was one of my favorites too.

Yes, those 1/43 IXO trucks have been a solid source of $$ extraction from my wallet. Their WFL daycab has been a winner for me. Plan to convert it to single headlight CF, and CME fleet. I have been bugging them to come out with a 1974 VIT KW 925 which you know a certain TV show... Yeah, never liked those whacky Revell hard tires, even back then when I was a kid! Truck question i've been searching, what year did the modern open type car hauler trailer ( like Revell Germany kit) come out? Thanks for posting, always good to see and hear what's out there.
@lotso69 Жыл бұрын
I know the Revell Peterbilt 359 first came out in 1982 so I’m gonna guess that the car carrier came out around 1985.

Hey Ben. New subscriber here. I'm getting back into modeling and I'd like to build a veeeerrrry stretched out Pete 359. Do you have a tutorial on how to do a long frame stretch? Thanks!

Ben you hurt my wallet. I looked up all three of those manufacturers and found a copy of a Pete 359 i'm building right now similar to yours but white w/ blue stripes. On order now. There's that addiction again.

Hi Ben, do you if anyone makes 3d printed complete exhaust stack in 1/25 ?
@lotso69 Жыл бұрын
I don’t think I’ve seen a 3D exhaust but there are kits out there with a resin muffler, aluminum tubing for the pipe and a photo etch exhaust screen. They’re really nice. I know Auslowe in Australia has them. You can probably find them on EBay and ST Supply in Canada as well.
