I just watched Ao Haru Ride anime yesterday and damn, now I need to read that manga!! (I've never read manga before but I really really want to!)

i binge read all of ao haru ride today. i liked it, but i dont think i liked it as much as everyone else does. i loved the characters, they were flawed and realistic. and i adored the friendships, they were the highlight of the manga for me. i was fine with the miscommunications and misunderstanding because when i was 16-17 i wouldn't handle situations very well either lol. i just felt like the touma and futaba arc got dragged on for way too long and some of that time could've been used to develop futaba and kou's relationship more. i didn't loveeee it but i liked it 😊

Your makeup is so cute here! Ao Haru Ride is one of the best shoujo mangas out there, a lot of it is cliche but it's just so so good especially the art. You should watch the anime too, but of course I love the manga more although it was nice to see these characters come to life! Shouya's quest for redemption literally got me in tears asdhjfgkn I loved the whole series. I don't wanna spoil anything for you though! I personally enjoyed the movie uh....but I'mma stay silent about that too HAHAHA.

LOVED BOTH this month! great picks girl! I totally feel you on the desk reveal in Silent Voice, i was SO EMOTIONAL about it. the whole volume was painful to read but also so important and I'm on my volume 4 now and still loving it even as my heart breaks 😭 I agree with you on Ao Haru Ride feeling like a volume zero! the next two get SUPER CUTE tho, and I absolutely love Kou, not gonna lie he's my fave and I wish I was Futaba 😂

I have only watched A silent voice the movie and honestly i didn't have an emotional connection so at one point i may read the manga! And ndnxjdkdhd i read Blue spring ride and AHHHH so much nxkxhxjdhxkd like YA GOTTA READ ON CAUSE IT GETS COMPLEX and that's what got me with mixed emotions but I LOVE THIS REVIEW

I haven't read Ao Haru Ride but I did re-read A Silent Voice and I totally agree with everything you have said. I also own the 2nd volume (want to re-read that one too) but somehow have never come around to buy the rest of the series and watch the movie... BUT I WANT TO DO IT NOW. 💗 This was my first month participating and it was so fun! THANKS FOR HOSTING.

this is scary i literally watched a silent voice today... and started watching the ao haru ride anime TODAY as well!! weird coincidence... but anyway i absolutely loved a silent voice, it's probably my favorite drama anime i've ever seen ;; and i'm only halfway through with ao haru ride but i'm liking it a lot too~ i'm also Dying to pick up the manga for both!!

I liked silent voice better only cause it's more unique and deeper. But, I loved both. It blew my mind when my dude came in and found out he saw the anime to Ao Haru Ride.

I read both of these picks and loved Ao Haru Ride sooooo much 😊 However, I found that my anger and frustration at Shoya’s atrocious behaviour towards Shoko in A Silent Voice really affected my enjoyment of the first volume. I think I gave it 3.5 stars, not because the story is bad in any way, just because I hated Shoya - he was awful, and spiteful and really abusive. He was also a brat - ugh. However, I did pick up volume 2 and found that I did actually think he was okay in this one and gave it 4 stars. I’ve gone and bought the rest of the series too so I’m hoping it won’t be a waste of money! 😅😳 I’m also buying the single releases of Ao Haru Ride as soon as they come out in the UK 🤗🌸 X

A silent voice vol 1- Shoya , the worst character A silent voice vol 2-7- Shoya , the best character I really love a silent voice , its my favourite manga/anime .

I HATED A Silent Voice! The main boy was so absolutely evil and it was so difficult to read. People told me to give it a chance and keep reading with volume two but I didn't. After your video, I might. But ugh that part where the bullied girl is protecting the bully by erasing the stuff on his desk made me so mad. Like, no mercy for bullies! I don't know maybe I'm just mean. I did love Ao Haru Ride. It was such a fun read. I even got my younger sisters to read along with me and we even marathoned Blue Spring Ride. It was just a fun time reading them together and discussing our thoughts and just cringing together while watching the anime. I can't wait to pick up the March picks!! I'm waaaay excited for Shiver. I'm also a huge Ito fan.
