Since February is Black History Month, I'm reading books by African-American authors/ with African-American main characters. I've already read a poetry book called "Words from a Wanderer" and "Dear Martin". I'm currently reading "The Help" by Katherine Stockett, and if I have the time, I'll read "The Hate U Give". Depending on my schedule, I might do a romance read-a-thon on V-day as well 😄

Omg girlll, the bear and the nightingale was 5/5 for me. It was so beautiful and I've heard the Russian tales are SPOT on. She does mention that she made minor tweaks to some of the Russian tales but she majored in Russian so... Anyway, the second book, a girl in the tower, really moved the characters forward. Lots of great background, lots of heart break. I think booktube really needs to get their head in the game and read it! You're the only one that's even mentioned it so far!

those lil Victorian romance books are so beautiful! I’ve never heard of either of them before, I’m gonna have to add them to my goodreads. Little Women is SO BEAUTIFUL. There’s a new masterpiece adaptation coming out too, can’t wait for that 🙏🏻💕

I hope you're able to get to all the books you want to read for this month. I'm thinking I might only get through a few books this month since I'm not even half-way through Roses, I'm almost done with 1984, I started Frankenstein, but there are so many other books I want to read this month. I might start on a YA fantasy.

You should totally read Autoboyography! It's such a fast read, I finished it in a day and I'm a slow reader typically. Also it is very funny and cute but also SO EMOTIONAL AND INTENSE at times I cried. It taught me more about religion in a way too and how people should accept one another. Please, please, please read it 💙
