Another "monster" romance with a black girl is A Light in the Dark by Miranda Saphire. It's a beauty and the beast retelling, so I guess that counts? So sweet and sexy. A bit longer and more slow burn than Sweet Vengeance.

Just re-read Seven Days in June and I liked it less than I did the first time I read it. But I did like it overall. I tried to start Amina but there were words I didn't know how to pronounce and I gave up but just temporarily until I can get the audiobook from the library.
