Not only did I have a fecal matter transplant after recurring, CDF, that Vanco myosin would not touch, shortly there after I was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder. After seeing your video I am absolutely convinced there is a connection. Now I know that I may be seeing that because I can get pretty much zero help with the FND even though I live 5 miles up the road from Stanford University but everything you talked about here was so incredibly eye-opening. I’m currently on the fod map diet to reduce symptoms that I thought before the fecal matter. Transplant were related to the CDIff. That diet has made more of a difference to me than the transplant did. I think I was one of the 10% that it just didn’t work for. The FND has been a much more complicated matter. Luckily I work at an iop/php that has an FND track. I just bought your webinar. I forwarded one of your videos to a neurologist that I work with. Somehow, I think this is all going to come together. Thank you so much for your work! This is my first sign of hope in a very long time.

I got C-diff and an ulcer (h-Pilori infection) from a colonoscopy where the endoscope wasn’t properly cleaned. I lost 50 lbs. in 30 days. I was SO SICK that my body would need to eliminate whatever I ate within minutes of eating it, without it being processed by my gut. I even remember eating a salad, 10 mins. later need to evacuate the ingested food, and actually seeing lettuce floating in the toilet water. (Sorry, TMI) I was put on extremely potent antibiotics, taking FloraStor probiotics, drinking barley water (big in Europe) and eating sauerkraut with almost every meal. Had it gone on much longer, they would have had to remove part of my colon. All these issues sharing brain cells too.

The 'gut-brain axis' is amazing and i wish it had been studied and widely accepted a few decades ago...i would have benefited...When i was sick w/ some things like severe fatigue, epstein barr, depression, anxiety & gut issues the idea of how all the body systems are connected rather than compartmentalized would have spared so many pain and anguish. Nevertheless, I am hopeful these things are opening minds finally. Thanks Dr. Sullivan for bringing us some unique perspectives in brain health!

Thank you, Dr. Sullivan! You touched on this topic in your discussion concerning essential tremor. I look forward to further discussions on this issue. As to your question, yes!

My brother has gluten ataxia, CKD and MSA. His strength, CKD score and brain Naa/Cr has marginally improved since having 10 infusions of FMT back in April 23. We hope these improvements continue. Microbiome is undoubtedly essential for organ health (and vice versa). Hope this helps

Thank you Dr. Sullivan, that was very interesting. You certainly cover a very wide variety of topics in your talks. I have Essential Tremor and Ulcerative Colitis so this subject seems to be very relevant to me.

I have severe arthritis. I folllow this subject since 7 or 8 years now when I read an article about it as a cure to arthritis. I even found my good donnor :-). I am so willing to try this new medical treatment. When I talk to my rhumatologis, he did know nothing about it and laughed at me! I will for sure talk to him next rendez-vous. And I do have recurrent depression and I found your information so interesting!! Thank you so much !!! Ho and I would prefer the capsules 😊

I would not be opposed to it. It would depend on how "desperate" I was and I would like to do more investigating.

Absolutely! I would actually prefer the capsule to avoid the invasive procedure of a colonoscopy.

It's definitely something to look at. I've been following your diet for a while. Been easy since pescatarian i may need to do aip diet to illuminate foods for auto immune. Psoriasis and Renauds. I also have blepharaspasms and. Uncontrolled oral mandibular movements. Seeing now a functional neurologist along with the other traditional drs. Functional focuses more on gut, and also, being a neurologist i pray will help me function better.

Ooo, very informative info thanks. There's an interesting case about BOY AND BEAR, lead singer. He had this treatment with success! 🙌 He was unable to go on tour for many years because of his medical problems. He literally had a poo roadie in the shape of a fecal transplant and went on tour. Change his life backed into some sort of normality😊 There's a story on line. The brain to gut, gut to brain axis is true.. Healthy bacteria resides on every single sheath and sinew of our body, including the basal ganglia and cerebral cortex.. Fantastic upload 👣 A friend of mine Marguerite has been using probiotics with her non-verbal son who has now become verbal and can even take him on outings. She received a government grant towards what she has discovered. Gosh I can't shut up.😂 my youngest two children have Tourette's. 14 years after their symptoms, I have tardive dyskinesia and dystonia. (4 years now.)The three of us are way more settled when we are grazing on salads like the ancestors and tucking into a bit of yoghurt.. My friend Margaret is from Ireland and I'm from Australia and we met looking for more answers for our children..

When I first heard about re-florination of the gut, I was very sceptical. In England, some studies were done on twins (see Dr. Michael Mosely) where one twin was (shall we say) on the tubby side and the other twin was on the slimmer side. It transpired that the slimmer twin had a healthier and more diverse gut bacteria than the chubbier twin. So if I were prescribed something like that I would probably take it, by mouth as this seems the safest method of delivery.
