You seem to be lying about the reason insurance companies are leaving CA. They have said the reason is state induced price controls. The insurance companies aren't allowed to charge enough to be profitable, so they are choosing to just not do business. Why would you omit their stated reasoning?

I don't see how she lied. She said that some insurance companies have pulled out because climate change is causing insurance companies to be unprofitable. That's exactly what the UC report says. She's not blaming the insurance companies. She's reporting what the study reports. I think you're reading your perspective - that she is anti-business - into it. You're overreading.

@ State Farm has said that their reason for not renewing policies in CA is price controls. That seems to be a pretty important perspective. There isnt a single insurance company pulling out due to climate change. They are pulling out because the can't afford to do business there because state price controls dont account for climate change.
