Alex Phillips furiously slams Kings Cross Station for displaying an Islamic message on one of their announcement boards during the month of Ramadan.
The message, which read a verse of the Quran, was taken down after complaints were made and the station management apologised for featuring the Quranic verse.
“This is a Christian country - put that in your pipe and smoke it,” Alex adds.

Couldn’t agree more… My folks are Sikh and came here in the 60’s from Punjab. I’m 1st generation English born and bred and extremely proud of my country and what it’s helped my family to achieve. My parents are proud educated and ensured that we were raised to understand the history and culture of our Christian country and while we “quietly” fulfil our faith we also respect that this is a Christian country. We even celebrate all the Christian traditions and practices (Christmas, Easter 🐣). I want to see more focus on the Christian faith because this is a Christian country. Too much focus is being placed on multiculturalism. We have over-corrected on this path at the consequence of losing the Christian nature of this country. These conversations need to be had.

I'm an atheist but I'm also very much a CULTURAL Christian and Humanist (I love Christmas, Easter etc.). I think what a lot of people mean (when they say we're a Christian country) is that we went through The Enlightenment (The Age Of Reason) . The Muslim world didn't. Also Christianity learns by it's mistakes and improves with the times, whilst Islam just repeats and repeats the word of its prophet making no effort to modify as our knowledge ratchets up!
