Nice job checking to see if there was a round chambered and keeping that finger off the trigger!

Going through the whole chamber check to appease the KZbin safety police is one thing, but TRIGGER DISCIPLINE should be second nature. It should not even be a conscious thought. When a guy makes a video to get good information out to the community, he instantly loses all credibility when he demonstrates a lack of understanding or plain disregard for even the BASICS of firearms handling. Apparently he doesn't give a $h#t though, because he's had over two years to edit his video and here he still is show'in the world.

I always check my firearms before filming any firearm video, people on KZbin are to critical and have no idea what goes on before making a video.

I know right..."I always check...", "It wasn't loaded", etc, etc, etc... Famous last words. Your house, your family, your life, whatever. my point is 1:45 WHY?

I bought federal champion aluminum ammo for my 9mm cz75b and my glock 29 with a 40 caliber barrel. It runs flawlessly, zero problems. I love this ammo Federal makes good ammo.
@rkba49238 жыл бұрын
It's cartridges and magazines vs bullets and clips but I agree with you regarding the ammo. I've shot it through a half dozen guns in the hundreds of rounds each with no issues thus far. No worse cleaning than any other ammo I've shot such as MagTech, PMC, Fiocchi, Perfecta, Blazer, etc.

I have had a lot of FTE using Federal aluminum case!! I tried it with my Taurus 709 slim with 300 to 400 rounds of brass thru it. Yesterday one got so stuck I had to use a wooden dowel to get it out. Looking at the case it was split!! Never any trouble with brass cases. Calling Fed. to see what they want to do as I have 6 boxes of the junk!!

Aluminum expands more than brass. If you had a dirty chamber and then fired aluminum that would explain why it got stuck

I shot 550 rounds of Federal Aluminum with my Glock 19, & yes I have to agree, it shoots clean!! I had zero failures.
@Trentcollier7 жыл бұрын
I've had 1 failure I. My Springfield 1911A1 mil spec, and it was with a brass cased ammo. Was a problem with my ejector. I've been running federal aluminum in my ruger sr9c, my s&w shield 9mm, and my SA 19111. After a combined 1500 rounds of aluminum, I can say I'd stand by it and recommend it as well. Great video.
@gaylenstone93297 жыл бұрын
I have shot about 500 rounds of the Federal aluminum to date and I have had no issues what so ever with this round. Its cheap, works fine for practice and is plenty accurate, only downside is it seems to be a walmart only item and they hardly ever stock more then 4-5 boxes at a time.

nice finger on the trigger
@prachadile4 жыл бұрын
If you look closely you'll notice my finger is not on the trigger but it is in the trigger hole. I doesn't matter anyway when I learned gun safety I learned to check if the gun is loaded first. Before I handle any gun I make sure it's unloaded. You guys need to get a life and make your own video's.

This ammo here in upstate NY is by far the cheapest you can buy, and the price is the only thing cheap about it. Tulammo & Aguila are both a $1-$2 a box more. This ammo is very clean and reliable, I have put 650 rounds through my S&W SD9 VE and not a single failure of any kind. Walmart seems to always list this ammo as "out of stock" on there web site but their are usually hundreds of round to on the shelf when I get their...so don't trust the site! I have even seen them hide ammo of one caliber behind another caliber were you cant see what it is, I had them open the case and noticed it! Its the only ammo (9mm) I buy now because of how much cheaper it is.

Federal's parent company, Vista Outdoor formerly a part of ATK, offers 3 aluminum cased ammo that I am aware of at this time: Federal Champion, CCI Blazer and Independence ammunition. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Buy a mix of brass and aluminum cased ammo is a good way to go IMO. Lower your cost and stockpile greater amounts of ammo just in case the SHTF.vistaoutdoor.com/brands/

I spent $30 on a box of 100 40s at Walmart...maybe it's inflation but had no problems with the rounds in my SW Shield, had more problems with the Winchester amo.
@Frank-uf2vn7 жыл бұрын
I buy them for my S&W SD9 VE, it also comes in the 40 cal. but I knew going in that the 9mm ammo was much cheaper $19.97 per 100. if they were both the same price ammo I probably would have bought the 40 cal. and that holds true for all ammo not just this Aluminum!
@trod2868 жыл бұрын
if your pistol cant shoot this aluminum cased ammo... Sell your Pistol .. I have Over 4000 rounds through 2 of my Glock 19s with not one FTF or FTE.. Its clean and reasonably priced.. Great Range Ammo..

I have shot thousands of rounds of this ammo with not a single malfunction. HOWEVER, this ammo looses velocity EXTREMELY fast. From 10 yards, dead on spot, from 20 yards, from the same POA, POI is atleast 12 inches lower.

This aluminum ammo is only good if you buy and shoot it soon. I bought a lot and stored it indoors 2yrs and it they jammed every single round. I think they slightly absorb some moisture inside the case if they sit for too long

You guys crack me up, I’ve already checked the gun before making the video. You guys make me sick with your stupid comments.
@en4orser5 жыл бұрын
They are not stupid comments. You should always treat every gun as if it's loaded. Keeping your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to fire is basic firearm safety. I'm not being an ass towards you but that is a bad habit you have developed
