Just some pointers. Keep the video in real speed. When it's sped up it looks like it's a rushed job (even though it is not). I like the detailed description. You might try to de-yellow the cover with UV light and Hydrogen-peroxide. For first video it is really enjoyable and well made. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I know it's really hard to keep it one speed especially for stuff like the wire brush since it takes a long time and if you make it to long people will just skip it. About the yellowed acrylic that's what I did. I don't have a uv light so I lift it out in the sun but it's winter and cloudy here so it didn't work that well and when I asked around some people said that federal sold their indicators with yellow acrylic. There also might be a point where acrylic just can't be completely clear as I tried the same thing with a yellowed acrylic lid and let it sit outside a week and it only got more clear and didn't remove the yellowing similar to this case.

That's about the same level of restoration I would do. Get it clean and working again. No polishing or powder coating. Good job.

I think that "Rubberish Coating" was just grime and dirt built up from years of use.

Should ever pry the indicator hand off with a screwdriver. Amatuer.

I agree but I would rather not buy a specialty tool that I will use once especially if their are already internal issues that need fixed. Anyways it turned out just fine and I don't have a issue with the indicator's arm not returning to the same place every time so im pretty sure no damage occurred. Btw I sped up that point during the video and in reality I took my time to slowly loosen it and then carefully pry it off. But I appreciate your concern and if I do more of these type of restorations in the future I will buy a watch arm puller.
