Federal Signal Vector with LED mods

This is a Vector bar someone gave me years ago. 2 of the standard rotator pods were bad so I took the hardware out and ordered some stuff from ETD to replace it. The pods on the end are the "smart" pods that can do 18 different things plus alleys and worklight/takedowns. I also used a trick from another KZbinr to clean the lenses with toothpaste, elbow grease and a shop towel to get the scratches and yellowing off the lenses. The 3M restore kit (thanks unnamed store for 18 bucks) worked great on the colored domes but toothpaste and a towel worked better on the clears.. Heres the breakdown
Dash: ETD LED Dual
Grille: ETD Deck 2 Dual
Strobes: Whelen 90w 6head strobe supply with clear tubes in the head/backup lights and blue tubes in the bed cargo lights (which I can still use).
Lightbar: Federal Signal Vector with 2 smart pods set for intersection. Pods 3 and 5 modified with ETD Bumper LEDs facing the rear and an older version of the ETD LED Quad bar cut in half to face forward and out at the sides.
Where im at volunteer can only run blue/clear. All of the LEDs are from Extreme Tactical Dynamics. I know its sacrilege to put Chinese lights in a bar made in the USA....but ive got under 200 dollars in the entire set up. The arrowstick is not wired because "legally" I cant use it. Also the dashlight is off center because of the DRL sensor in the dash board.

So to get the dash light and 2 deck lights in sync, did you just bust open the controller for the deck light and then hook both modules of the dash to output 1 and then both modules of the deck to output 2?

hey man I just got a vector and kinda want to do what you did with the LEDs, and I've found the rear ETD grille lights, but what is the LEDs for the front? the 3 and 5 pod front facing ones?

Justin Keyrouze, they are 4 heads from the 16 inch dash light. See my other videos for other upgrades. I was able to buy better upgrades for the same price as the ETD ones.

An Arrow Stick is illegal for use on a "civilian" VFD vehicle??? This device is an excellent safety item that needs to be used!

Subgunman . I should be more specific. An amber arrowstick is illegal, a blue cam be used but is not recommended. Law enforcement in IL is responsible to traffic control on roadways during incidents not fire /ems.

The dash is from Extreme Tactical Dynamics. I thnk they call it the dual. It was only about 50 bucks.

The arrow stick is illegal to use? Really? Hmmm, I would think that that would be the one thing that is more legal than anything else. I guess there's nothing like being vague on a traffic scene! Too bad... Nice set up, I have always loved the vector light bars. The new led ones have punched it up a notch, but those motors still use a lot of amperage.

+Matchboxtruckman163 Not when a high riding pickup truck comes up[ behind a low-riding car. The driver of the car will see the dashlight in their rear view mirror, but the won't see the lightbar. That's what dash lights are for.
