In 2011 Djokovic and Nadal played 6 matches and all 6 were finals and all 6 were won by Djokovic. In this clip we saw TWO points between Nadal and Djokovic and Nadal won both of them. Absolutely irrelevant but we read you loud and clear. The word is BIAS. I hope you found some comfort for your pain.

Who wins the match has no relevance to the quality of the point. The point is played by both players. Even the loser of the point is playing a quality point. To only include the winning point of the winner is bias.

Most fans are Federer fans so that explains it. When people talk about a weak era they usually refer to 2004-2007 and they are right for many reasons.

Still not as weak as 2014-2023 where all the players cannot even beat old big 3. You put all of prime Ruud, Kyrgios, Tsitsipas, Berretini, Zverev, Medvedev, Thiem, Anderson, Cilic, Nishikori, Murray, Wawrinka into 2004-2007 and none would beat Federer in AO, USO or Wimbledon and none would beat Nadal in RG. He was pretty good in 2011 but sure not 2006 level. I’d still call 2011 and 2012 prime Federer, just obviously not peak. Similar to how Djokovic was in his prime in 2014 but not as good as he was in 2011 or 2015, or even 2013.
