Hello! There is a great little detail... Yes, it is an argentine work, but it is not called that, nor is it by María Luisa Anido... it is a milonga called "Milongueo del ayer" and it is by the composer Abel Fleury, born in the Buenos Aires province. Sorry for my level of English, it is not my native language. Greetings from Argentina!

It is true that this beautiful piece is famous as Fleury's Milongueo del Ayer, but an edition entitled 'Melodia Popular Argentina' was also published with Maria Luisa Anido listed as the author. Anido also published some of her pieces in Russia if I am not mistaken in the 1950s, including this one. 😊

@@FedericaArtusoOf course, I understand that there was a printing error, but stating that is like saying that, since Segovia grouped and edited 20 Sor studies, from that edition on the studies belong to Segovia and no longer to Sor. Anido and Fleury were great composers and guitarists who wrote beautiful works, but we do not steal the credit from each author, we would be missing the possibility of knowing a great author like Abel Fleury, who composed very interesting and beautiful works such as “Relato”, “Mudanzas”, “Ausencia” and many others. We understand that María Luisa was an important guitarist, performer and composer, but we cannot deny Abel's authorship due to a Russian printing error 70 years ago, when the work was actually composed and published many years before by Fleury. Who knows? Maybe they didn't understand to María Luisa and titled her with the first thing that came to mind. By the way, the piece was very well performed. Congratulations!

@@FedericaArtuso My guitar teacher was Argentinian, he taught me to play this song and showed me an Argentinian book from the 1950s with scores of many compositions by Abel Fleury, among these I photocopied this song attributed to him......more I don't know.🤗
