This is awesome! I built it and it works! Question: if you only have wood troughs, wouldn’t it be better to fill half the trough with rocks to keep the food in the fridge longer? Would that reduce spoiling?

We play official too and have seen them used for caves on scorched, people are finding some really cool uses for them it's amazing😀

How can we choose which food to load a trough with? Like one with berries and the other with meat. If I'm raising both herbivores and carnivores and the cart only loads troughs with berries then my carnivores will die.

Would be best to raise either meat or herbivours at separate times unless you have a large enough base to have two separate raising areas. Or have two lots of troughs separated and two carts, each near to the respective troughs, but that could be risky and would need a lot of testing to get right.

To confirm! Placing Crop Plots on the Cart Platform DOES transfer growing crops into the troughs! Tried it last night ^-^ Time for a giant portable crop farm xD

Oh wow that is handy! Thank you for letting us know. I was thinking of it all wrong, like they have an option on them (same as the troughs) and would pull fertiliser from a cupboard on the cart 🙈 your thing is wayyyyy better... And actually works! Amazing!

As the person that first pointed this out. I do not use or even like the setup. Between the cart and mount you loose way too much space for babies. You have no control over how the food is distributed to the troughs either. Meaning no matter how well you plan ahead, you can loose babies on mixed troughs. This is a solution in search of a problem. It is far easier to just store stuff in fridges right next the troughs. To put extra wood troughs out if you do not have tex and fill that way. Which is what I still do. PS. On a more personal note I would have preferred to not be mentioned at all as requested in my original set of posts.

It does take up a LOT of space 🙈 but we're really happy about it as we can sleep better knowing our troughs are being topped up and won't run out over night 😄🙌

It takes up some space yes, but it is just less stressful. Go on a meat run, fill the fridges, log off. I have two cart setups separated from each other. One for meat one for berries. I run a tek trough on my meat, and wood on my berries. I fill the berry trough up with 40 slots of stone to prevent unnecessary spoilage on the berries. If you're worried about space you need a bigger base man lol.

@@GameChanger_Games under organic poly on snails. You did not do anything wrong; it was a public post in response to one of your videos. Anyone saying otherwise would be wrong. And it was more implied than explicitly stated. Just do not feel noticing an option on a menu was worth any credit in your video. The right way to do the cart is to put everything in the new sap sealed barrels. Color them for the food inside. They outlast a normal fridge. Uncork only what you need as you need it. Great way to prep for a few days away and have stuff so tribemates can easily top off your troughs as needed without having to farm for you.

Nice if you dont have Tek Troughs 😅 if you have some (like 10+) is it not more needed 😊 Buuut its realy good for New maps if you strugle with feeding babys ... But on the end of the next is it again a typ of Pay To Win

Turbine also functions on a raft. Made it easier to store food for my ankys at herbi island using refrigerators. Unfortunately can't place a cryifridge on the raft.
