Has this ever happened to anyone before? I flipped my two ak-47s into flower mode and they started there stretch. After 2 weeks 6 canes where growing past my lights. So I Carefully bent them over about 90° and secured them down no problem right? So they did what I expected and redirected themselves to the light. Now they already had baby buds starting when I bent them! To my surprise 2 days later they flipped to pollen production it was everywhere omg what the heck! Both plant became infected even though I only bent the one! I've been growing for 20 years and I've never seen this happen before! Lol wasted 3 months weed still turned out great but with 50 seeds in every Bud omg! Well has this ever happened to anyone else! Ya'll are the best grow channel on Utube!

Certain cultivars are more sensitive than others to stress . I've had this happened . Its the genetics , and the stress it faced that caused it . This is my guess cause I've had this happen in the past . At least you got some seeds , hopefully their not prone to herming .
@Toneloke-30005 ай бұрын
When I have plants indoors that temperamental is usually a bag seed or genetics meant for outdoor growth.
@brewerz15225 ай бұрын
Stress from environment then training/pruning likely caused poor genetics to go herm. Be prepared for stretch, leave room and raise your light instead of bending flowers. Keep your HST or LST in veg. Consider SCROG if your grow space height is limited.
@brewerz15225 ай бұрын
Pollen sacs take more than 2 days to develop before opening. It's possible they were hiding there the whole time. I've had herms that only had a couple pollen sacs and mostly flowers, but it only takes 1! They can be hard to spot, use a magnifier and check carefully every day if you don't have proven genetics

I’ve watched enough Scotty vids that I finally broke down and bought 8 ozs. of Recharge. It showed up today. First thing I noticed with my initial application is that it made a big difference in water absorption. As in the Recharge water soaked right in. I collect rainwater and water my babies with it and this time of year the water in my tank gets funky between rains. There are 4 big goldfish for mosquito control in the tank so the girls get fish poop in their diet.

I go fully organic with Gaia Green amendments with 25% worm castings and 10-15% pumice in my soil. I add synergy from growtek on my roots at transplant as well as their black pearl charcoal. Then use root wise products throughout to feed the microorganisms in the soil. This method for me is the easiest. It comes out tasteful and I don’t have to do a flush.

If you have a lot of plants and you need the best price 25 lb bags of dry salts is the way to go (between.05 and 3 cents a gallon). I like a 3 part system for nitrogen control. One bag for veg one bloom and a calcium nitrate. I use Jacks 321 in veg and advance cultivation line in bloom. Use any calcium nitrate you want that does not have any ammonium nitrate in it (jacks is good but its over priced). Follow the feed schedule at 100% strength. Its not like bottles feed charts. You will get deficiencies fast even on small plants if you don't feed full strength on all dry powder lines I've used. General hydroponics dry line is good too but its a bit expensive for a larger grow. Still dirt cheap next to bottles. I add a quarter dose of a veg or bloom dry organic amendment directly to my pots every 30 days with some compost also for extra flavor and nutrient boost.

Hey, Scotty & co! Thanks for all the helpful well organized content! One quick question amongst many of my inquiries - I am growing a mix of both organic and hydroponic flowers. Some of the org are not doing as well as the others, all being fed cold Strive at the same schedule. It seems like maybe it's these seeds that are f1 hybrid hash plant x but I don't know. My question is, would feeding some Heavy16 along the way mess with the other nutrients? I think it has some good stuff in it, too.

I bought both grow dots and recharge but have only used recharge so far. Considering growing two autos soon (Gorilla Punch Auto and Apricot Auto both FastBuds) and have FoxFarm Happy Frog all set to plant into. Figure I will top dress with some Fox Farms Ocean Forest once it hits flower. I also have the entire package of FF bottles. But right now I’m growing four plants outdoors. Two white widow and two strawberry cough both photoperiod. All look good. One of them had a problem where I was messing with it and the center (biggest) cola just snapped straight in half. I had no idea what to do so I just cut it off and continued feeding the plant. I’ve used Recharge and MicrobeBrew for the entire grow except for the past few weeks since they’ve been in flower. Since then I’ve been hitting them with some Bembe which is sugar basically. Anyhow long winded comment to say I’d like to try one of my two seeds into a mix of coco and perlite and see what happens when I mix in some grow dots and feed them with recharge. I bought the AC Infinity self watering grow bag stands along with some Gorilla grow bags which are dummy thicc. Got the ViparSpectra KS5000 inside a 4x4 AC Infinity tent. Haven’t set any of that up yet but right now I also have a 4x2 grow tent from VivoSun and two ViparSpectra V1000 or P1000 (whichever the more expensive ones are). But I’m really hoping I can really some Z’s from these outdoor plants soon and get my auto flower game going as soon as this month. Already threw some seeds into water and darkness. Might go into soil but definitely considering the coco/perlite mix with grow dots at some point. Would probably have to buy the ones meant for auto flower though. Anyhow thanks for your knowledge. I’m in TN and we have had heatwave after heatwave here but the plants seen to all weather the storm and are all presenting as female. No pollen sacs I can see and lots of white pistils and bud development. Fingers crossed I can start drying these four plants soon then putting the autos under lights in time for the cooler September and October temperatures in my basement. Hoping for some nice purples. For anyone that read this whole thing you’re a legend.

I've ran everything from raw honey, coffee grounds, watered down vinegar, foliage feeding, 20-20-20 46-0-0 I've had to lollipop my plants twice, did lose a 8 footer still don't know how my other ones doing great, can only have 3 so I got a 8-9 foot critical mass, a 5x8 zkittlez, and a 3 foot grand daddy purple to replace to one I lost, I've tried a lot of random stuff including over fertilizing and watering my smallest plant it's a beautiful green and just keeps shooting for the sky. Firm believer in watering in the morning before the sun, and again a light feeding 5 hours before the sun goes down. Besides my minor set back it's only my second year and everyone I look up to has been in awe over my plants
