So the way to think of tu'a is that it allows you to use an object where you need an abstraction. For example the english 'try the door' could be translated to lojban as 'ko troci tu'a lo vrogai'. You have to do this because you can't try an object, you have to try an action.

Oh, I did read that in CLL. I understand that particular example, I just need to study more examples to really get the usage down.

This is great! One nitpick is to remember 'c' is pronounced as 'sh' in english. At the beginning you said klaxu rather than claxu.

Argh! I still make that mistake every so often. Thanks for pointing that out, I will try to be more cognizant about this.

This is why I reccomend using the revised Slavic spelling instead. C→Š, J→Ž, '→H claxu → šlaxu

@@Liggliluff Well, it isn't ASCII friendly for most people Although I like the idea of changing ' to h, but if Lojbanists really wanted to keep ', I still _really_ want uppercase ' to be H instead of h, it just looks so ugly otherwise...
