This song resonates so much with me .. a couple of months ago i was in a very dark place and was going to take my own life .. my daughter stopped me by hiding the house and car keys and locking me in the house ... its a constant struggle and anybody could be fighting it and you would never know .. please be kind and caring and if you see some struggling make time and help them .. sometimes just an arm around their shoulder and a good ear can mean all the difference ..

Hello Jason.I hear you! This song means a lot to me, Jon wrote this( the original drummer) ,he was going through with the tough times & committed suicide. Sadly,I'm partially responsible to it ,so as many people .I know Grant ( the vocalist,Jon's long time friend)will deny all these.But,he was a very talented writer as well& wrote many feeder's songs not Grant( vocalist) .He was reaching out to me,but I didn't know how he was feeling,what he was going through,trying to tell me as I was sort of avoiding all the musicians at the time.Please ,remember this nobody is perfect in this world! And your daughter really loves you & needs you!There are many great videos out there to watch about depressions,things like things not to do when you're depressed, & foods you should not eat when you're depressed,so on.I believe that it's very important for us to know the patterns of depressions,what we do & watch,listen to ,or whom we hung out with ,even what we eat all affect us to feel certain moods!You might not believe ,but WALKING is really good to lift you up,change the moods& feelings! You really should try it! My old piano teacher was depressed & walked all the time for that! It really works! My sister is a good friend of a doctor who has a remarkable success rates with his patients, I believe he has never lost his clients for suicide!
