I spent lots of my youth fishing small farmland pools for (smaller!) Crucians so this session was a break from my usual river fishing whilst temperatures are high and water levels are low.
The session sees a couple of bites from alternative species also! See the equipment I use and my approach to target these bars of gold!

Hi Rob, great video again, I love Crucians but I have had to travel a 250 mile round trip to Surrey a few times to catch them. But that Roach with the colouration looks like a Rudd to me? I know I wasn't there and you saw it in the flesh and would have a better idea.

Hi Martin, I don’t believe there are any Rudd in that venue however I’ll be fishing it again soon so I’ll hopefully find out 🤞👍
