Feeding A Herd of Guinea Pigs

The herd at Comfort Cavies at supper time. I'm not very technical; I care more about variety and making sure they get a little of everything. My seniors get a little less high calcium vegetables and I cut up the tomatoes for them, but otherwise it's a buffet!

I love how everyone in the guinea pig community is so harda** about telling people 1 cup of veggies per pig per day etc, etc, but yet do we our selves actually measure the 1cup per pig per day ? Probably not as you've admitted!

I think there's entirely too much gate keeping in the community that it comes off intimidating to newer owners. So long as they get appropriate amounts to keep them happy and healthy without going crazy, they're good 👌
