With someone with a major eating disability I just want to say I really appreciate how you feed your hedgehogs. Ever since a stomach injury 3 years ago I haven't been able to eat solid food (unless its really digestible like crackers or breads or yogurt) and I was really depressed over this. I found a way to eat a lot of the foods I really missed by blending up my favourite stews, chilis, veggies, and meats and making some really nice soups and creations that taste amazing. So just seeing the little hedgehogs get their nutrition so they can have energy and sleep with their bellies full, made me so happy. Just know, it makes a massive difference in my quality of life, so I know it does for them too. Thank you. :)

Apparently my hedgehog isn't using her wheel because it is totally clean... everynight I take her outside so she can poop and pee but I don't think it's normal to see a clean wheel.... before she used to coat the wheel with poop and get poop boots but it's been roughly a month or more since I last cleaned her poop boots and I clean her wheel once or twice a week since it rarely gets dirty, it really concerns me! I don't know what to do! I need some advice!

Hi I know I'm not Tori and I'm not an expert so take my word with a grain of salt. You probably also aren't going to see this but oh well. Based on my research, you can most definitely wake up hedgehogs in the evening. As far as I know, you *can* wake them up in the middle of the day, but you can't make them do anything. Just let them chill under a blanket or in a hoodie on your lap. Again, I'm not an expert and i would do my own research before waking them up.

HedgehogPH like do you mean underweight ? Then it might either have a problem in the cage or something is wrong with him so you have to send him to the vet but if he is underweight and nothing's wrong try giving him lots of meal worms there like pure fat

I have a question, I am 27 yrs old and in March I got my first inside cat, and at first she had trouble using the litter box but now that's all she uses and I use fresh scent or something like that, it says its light weight and extreme, it was the most expense litter at my Wal-Mart it was $12.75 I think, but when I walk in my house all I can smell is poo!!! Do you know I can fix this problem!! Its really embarrassing when family comes over and my house smells like poo! Please help! I don't know how tom fix it! And remind you, I clean the litter box out everyday when I get home from work

Hmm, honestly not sure! I use World’s Best Cat Litter for my cat but I use it because it is corn based and won’t hurt my dogs if they eat it, and I use a litter keeper for the actual dirty litter. So I don’t have many recommendations for cat litter!

I use the Breeze cat litter system and it works great. Nothing ever smells either. The litter is clay pellets and there is a tray underneath and in the tray is a dog training pad type of thing. There is a grate in the litter box where the pee goes through and you can change that about once a week.

Hey! I’m currently in the process of ordering my hogs two 6 sqft cages! Currently my male is in a super small cage because he’s been escaping (i don’t wanna put him in there but I had no choice.) do you have any ideas for boredom breakers? They have toys but cinny is still super bored :(

Lots of tunnels, dig box, fleece forest, lots of time outside of the cage. Some hedgehogs are just restless and do better in larger, cluttered, cages that can keep them busy at night. Even then, if they can get out, some hedgehogs will no matter what’s in their cage.
