Gee,what fun,and you get to do it 365 days a year!! If your going to milk cows 🐄, 50 or 5000, you do it everyday of the year. We are so lucky to have farmers willing to work so hard!! Thanks 😊.

I could have helped you out. We feed silage the same. I have a silo out in the open 500 feet from the barn we empty it on a hay wagon then drive around and pitch into wheel barrows just like you. We do it all winter long silo will be empty in a couple weeks. FFA is a great reason to miss a night of chores. My daughter is working on her American Degree currently. I can see your brothers involved with restoring one of your M's?? It is how my club restored Dad's MM Z back in the day.... (1984).

We had a cross conveyor in our barn that would drop the feed on both sides and then used wheelbarrows to move the feed to the cows. We could not keep up with a conventional wheelbarrow, so I added 8-10 in extensions on the sides and backs of the wheelbarrows. It increased the capacity by 75-100% so it took less trips, and allowed us to keep up. Less trips made it easier.
