There is SO MUCH conflicting information is out there… my vet said that you really don’t need to follow the “crazy” reptile owner who build elaborate habitat enclosures for them. One thing I am going to do soon is move Herman to an actual tortoise table. The glass enclosures do confuse them, as they will try to dig to explore further. The habitats are all wood… so they know the boundaries of their homes. You can also put more substrate in them to allow them to burrow. Glad to see your treating your young tortoise with love and care. It really makes a difference when they get older. 😊🐢

OMG there’s so much conflicting information on the internet so getting accurate information can be confusing at first. My veterinarian gave me a “list” of things to feed my tortoise as well as other information. It seems like you are doing your best in taking care of your tortoise 🐢 thank you so much for your comment 💚
