Ok now that I've actually watched the video I must say, I love the way they just stood there on your hand chomping on the meal worms. I absolutely agree, white-eyed are very underrated. I think I will go back and rewatch all of the mini-dragon episodes and hope I find some at the expo I am going to at the end of the month! QOTD - Out of all of my animals I would have to say my Cockatiel (his name is Cooper),is the shyest of all my animals. I've had him for 9 years and he still freaks out every time I open the cage door to feed them. When I have to catch him to clip his wings and nails he draws blood if he manages to bite me.

I have a young Pandinus Imperator, named Boogie. She's getting less shy over time but is to this day incredibly skittish, sometimes she comes out of her hole to hang out under a cork piece close to where her heat mat is, but if I make a loud enough knock or she feels any air motion at all, she'll dart back in like lightning. I'm hoping she mellows out as she gets older and grows larger, if only to make tong feeding her less of a chore, haha. I'm sure there are creatures that are generally more skittish, but probably not by much.

Them Skinks are very healthy looking. Is there a difference in the care between the white eye and the redeye but they both look extremely good
@JupiterJamie10 ай бұрын
Yes!!! I've been waiting for mini-dragons! I absolutely love the croc skinks and you of course! I prefer the white-eyed over the red, but both are wonderful. These are my dream now. I just don't know if I will ever be able to afford a pair.

The shiest pet I've ever cared for was a feral foster cat. We tried to socialize her but really had no clue what we were doing. She hid all day and came out only at night, and when we forced interaction on her she was basically just a frightened unresponsive lump the whole time. We eventually convinced a farmer we knew to adopt her, so she became a barn cat and we assume much happier with less human interaction.

This might be a various of questions.... lol How long did this take to get them this active? What were your methods to get your red-eye skinks to become less shy to come out more and interact with you? Lastly, to hand feed them? Because my red-eye skink will hide FOREVER, and I honestly don't know if she's eating or drinking water. 😅 I'm struggling here. Any tips would be grateful!! 🙏🏼
