That hairy puffer is cool, haven't heard of that kind before. You might want to see about setting up a worm bin, so you'll always have a supply of food for free. They just eat your leftover fruits and veggies, plus you can use the compost they make for your plants.

Have had a hairy puffer for a couple years. Love this species of fish. Some say they are pet rocks but Scruffy as we call him is like a wet puppy.

Those puffers are ambush predators that bury themselves in the substrate. You should swap out the rocks for sand and let it do its thing. Throw a bunch of mutt guppies in there with it
