9 months tops is what I like. That's about a 50-60 pound lean pig.

@@homesteadknowhow I just got some that are 7 months old and they seem like 25 lbs. I believe they were under fed. What do you recommend feeding them. I dont want to shock their system or get them fat. Just want a balance pork

I wonder how much id have to grow to try to feed my seven piggies all year. I feed them about 25lbs of feed a day.

I've grown various grains as pig feed. Harvested some early as green fodder. This year I'm growing Wade's Giant Indian Corn. Corn seems to outperform all other grains in my garden, yield wise.

We live in the Mojave desert Yucca Arizona. We are raising potbelly pigs for meat. I need help on how to process it will be my first time. Do you have a site or a email address I can get information from you about. We also chop up squash and put with some pellets to feed more healthy diet. Do you feed once or twice a day?
