Very cute ☺ Also very healthy. It's obvious he is taken good care of ☺ I had a little black and white named Stimpy, who looked so similar. Fantastic pets. Yes, of course they grow up and get bigger, just like a dog, but still a 45-60lb mini pig is totally manageable, and can easily be kept inside.

Your pig is cute....I dont eat pork for reasons of bacterial diseases. Most people think that I am muslim whenever I say I dont eat pork. Im taino indian ( puerto rican) so my people make fun of me for not eating pork because Puerto Ricans eat a lot of pork....but now my other reason for not eating pork is because pigs are actually smarter than dogs and cats. Theyre actually just below that of elephants dolphins and primates.
@ouwdash9 жыл бұрын
+Ta'aliay All animals are "smart" in their own way and could possess all kind of bacterial diseases. But if it might be a valid reason for you then it works i suppose....... just know that your arguments say nothing about animals...but more about you and how you look at them.

Very smart pig. Sit and stay are important so he doesn't think food is "easy." There are also devices like toy pianos, church bells (with a string for ringing), and boards with different shaped cut-outs with matching objects for Pumba to place accurately.
@tanessabowman56488 жыл бұрын
He's actually learned how to play the piano, the tambourine, put away toys and many more tricks! I just have to video him doing his new tricks and put it on KZbin. I plan on doing that soon :)

@tanessabowman564810 жыл бұрын
Jessica Niles Thanks! Pumbaa was about 5 months old when I filmed this. I'm feeding him grapes and bread for treats. I tried other kinds of treats like cheerios and peanut butter but he doesn't like anything else other then bread, grapes and walnuts. He's kind of a picky pig :)
@keehni6 жыл бұрын
How big did he get?
@caponsacchi99793 жыл бұрын
Just to get a pig to sit shows how intelligent they are. Sitting is not natural to a pig---their rear legs don't support that kind of posture--but they will soon figure out the steps leading to the "greater good" (food over pressure on their rear). But when they're "betrayed" by a guardian who has trained them to expect breakfast at a certain hour, they plot their revenge--from pulling out clothing drawers to breaking computing equipment. They're definitely as smart as a human 2-3 yur old.
@Sloopydrew9 жыл бұрын
Please don't take offense to this question: Do pig owners eat pork? I can't imagine having a pet and then eating its brother or sister. I stopped eating pork when I saw the torture animals go through in feedlots. Now, seeing videos like yours, I'm even happier I did -- I didn't know pigs were so smart. How are they socially? Similar to dogs? Like, if you don't have food, do they want to cuddle, walk, play, etc.? Do they still do tricks even without food or do you have to give it every time? I have SO MANY questions, but I've already asked my share. If you answer these, let me know if I can ask more. Thanks.

HI, Tannessa I just get a mini pig today. What should I do? She scream like hell and dont allow anyone to touch her. She even try to bite my friend when he tried to pet her. What should I do?
@ginavallone73885 жыл бұрын
Hi this doesn't happen overnight it's a lot of patience and consistency and time your pig will take a while to get used to you and her new environment especially if she's very young, think months and months... Be patient and kind and loving and trustworthy, never make her be picked up or pet if she's scared and doesn't want to. Mostly give lots of treats and gentle kind words, and speak her language I say uh uh uh in a low deep voice mimic their happy noises not the squeals. Go slow give her time and don't do anything to scare or hurt her. Mostly it's the treats. Dumor pig treats from tractor supply are good just give her time to associate treats and Kindness with you and your smell and your voice, also come to Reddit we talk pig 24/7 at r/pigs! Good luck pigs are great Pets if you have the right temperment. They are smart and very willfull and they don't train or take harsh punishment like as dog, dole out the treats freely and the punishment gently, enjoy! And good luck your gonna need it! Also remove or put items you love high up they will destroy!!!

Pigs are gentle, sweet, human friendly, clean animals. Pigs are omnivorous too just like human[(Especially some Wild Pig species are eat dead animals. They don't hunt them. They're just love to eat animals dead body)]. Pigs are 5th most intelligent animals on Earth more than dogs and cats.. ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘 I don't want eating them. I want them as my pet.....

I have two pet pigs that Ive been training. How did you get him to do the crawl trick? If you don't mind me asking
@tanessabowman56489 жыл бұрын
+Natasha Odegard Hi, I first get him to do the "take a bow" trick to get him on his knees then I put my hand in a fist in front of his nose and slowly move my hand back and forth and away from his nose and tell him to "crawl". Just like I did in the video. It helps to have a treat in your closed hand so he can smell it and will follow your hand. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)
