Feeding Reef Energy and Reef Roids to Coral and Fish

I put 1ml of reef energy part A and 1ml of part B. Then I add .1ml reef roids to the mix and spot feed coral. I then let the tank sit for 10 minutes until the wave maker comes on and let it flow for another 10 minutes and then shut off the wave maker to feed the fish mysis. Then I let the tank sit for another 10 minutes with all the flow off and then turn all pumps back on. Hope you enjoy!

Do you mix Red Sea Energy with the Reef Roids all together? I been using Reef Roids but I want to start using Red Sea Energy as well for the 1st time , how should I start off? Thanks

I mix .1 ml of reef roids with reef energy directly. I only do this about 3 times a week with the reef roids but reef energy is fed everyday. I see in your 24 gallon you do have some nice dark spots of algae so I would be cautious of feeding too much until you can balance that stuff out. I just uploaded another video going in more depth about maintaining the tank as it sits now.

Ok thanks for the feedback, i most definitely will try it, I just ordered it online, will receive it middle of next week, also I don’t feed my tank every day so I have a test kit and I tested just about all levels but everything checks where it suppose to be, also I have a A I Prime HD on it and I have adjusted the settings so I’m going to see what happens....

It will go away soon. Its part of the cycle. Diatoms are not near as bad as algae. IMO.

You are still cycling. Check your parameters and if all is zero then do a water change. Put all them frags in your other tank. If your other tank can handle them for a while I would keep them there. When you start to add fish to the tank you will stress that sps out with swings. Get the fish, get stabilized, then put the frags back in the tank.

Thats a hard temptation to avoid. lol. Just go slow. In the beginning you will want to do nitrate, phosphate tests at least weekly. I check Calcium, Mag, Dkh, almost 3 - 4 times a week. I adjust dosing and give it 2 days to test again. Im almost at the point of knowing my dosing system that it is really stable at the right parameters that I am able to let go a little. Thats after 6 months of messing with it and all the other crap that happened.
