Jake, Great job in show casing the many different corals. Equally as great in the way you handled the camera and fed the corals at the same time. 👍

Absolutely amazing. Feeding my corals is one of my favorite things to do. I may have to try feeding corals in the wild soon. Thanks Jake.

This video makes me rethink my lighting settings and I can’t get over that leather coral in the beginning of the video. I have chased so many leathers to look like the one in the video and I’ve had no success on polyp extension

Another great dive and footage, thanks for sharing. Kinda ridiculous question, do you ever see wild aptasia on the reefs you dive? Just more of a curious question than anything. I was looking and dont think I seen any.
@ReefBuildersVideo

No, not really - I see cyano and algae but I can't even remember seeing an Aiptasia, but they probably hide in the crevices of the reef

if you can see it getting any food, that's enough, corals have very low metabolism compared to moving creatures we are used to

When you go diving would you say the corals are getting more of a blue spectrum like in our tanks or more of a white light
@ReefBuildersVideo
@ReefBuildersVideo 5 жыл бұрын
completely dependent on depth, you can watch the early part of the dive as I go deeper it gets darker and bluer, although I white balance the camera to correct the blueness

As always Jake awesome shots! That place looks so peacefull (underwater) it must be a lot of enjoyment to be there and doing what you love. I have a question about using some products, im used to feed my corals everyday with reef roids, now im using from red sea the a&b reef energy can i feed both products at same time or should i change between them? One day this one day that? My nutrients are no3 1mg/po4 0,07. Mixed Reef. Thanks for taking the time for my question.
