Eggshells are used in 2 particular reasons in the garden. First the calcium feeds the plants. But if baked and then ground into a powder, u can sprinkle it on the plant and leaves and the bugs eat it and naturally die. It acts like a diatemaceous earth and kills unwanted bugs.❤❤❤❤Love ur videos! God bless!

I have 2 really easy Crockpot Breakfast Casseroles. One is a French Toast Bake and thec2nd is an Egg Casserole and both are Customizable. They both cook on low 6 hours or on high 2.5 to 3 hours. I often make both casseroles and refrigerate them on Saturday night. On Sunday Morning before we leave for Church I turn them on High. When Church is Over I have a Beautiful Brunch for 12 to 14 people for less than $30. Both casseroles are great reheated so I often make them on Monday and we eat on it all week. Just microwave a portion in the morning. EGG CASSEROLE 12 eggs 2 cups milk 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 lb cooked and crumbled sausage, bacon or chopped ham 3 cups shredded cheese of choice 2 lbs shredded hash browns OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, tomatoes Spray the crockpot with cooking spray. Brown meat of choice and crumble. Place hash browns in the crock. Add cooked meat, add cheese and vegetables of choice. Beat together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper plus any other seasonings that you want to add. Cook on low 6 hours or high 2.5 or 3 hours. FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE 1 loaf cubed French bread 8 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 3 cups dairy. Milk, half and half, heavy cream or alternative milk or any mixture of. We like 2 cups milk, 1 cup cream for added richness. 2 tsp vanilla This is a simple French Toast Casserole. Spray Crock. Place bread into the bottom of the crock. In bowl scramble the dairy of choice, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Pour over the bread. Cook on low 6 hours or high 2.5 to 3 ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS APPLE CINNAMON add 2 to 3 chopped apples and 2 tsp cinnamon BERRY add 1 pint fresh for 10 oz frozen of Blueberries, Raspberries, strawberries, black berries, or mixed berries. Our favorite is mixed berries CHERRY add 10 oz frozen pitted cherries. Omit vanilla and add almond extract PEACH 2 to 3 fresh peeled peaches or a 10 oz frozen bag PEANUT BUTTER add 1/2 melted peanut butter to the egg mixture CHOCOLATE CHIP add 2 cups chocolate chips CRANBERRY PEAR add 2 to 3 diced fresh pears and 1 cup of dried or fresh cranberries PUMPKIN add 2 cups canned pumpkin to egg mixture and 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

You can bake eggshells until they're dry, turn them into powder-like consistency via coffee grinder, and mix the egg powder into the soil (smaller pieces decompose faster). Some people steep eggshells, banana peels, and used coffee grinds for around 7 days and then blend it up to water/fertilize their plants. Or, you can just throw the shells into the compose and let nature/time do its thing.

I put eggshells in my compost and they get broken down and then I use my compost. Put it this way; I have a bag next to my stove and put everything in there and it goes into my compost. Banana peels, ends of veggies, coffee grounds, peels of any fruit or veggies, napkins. I have great compost. Also, I eat breakfast because I feel like I have to and it’s usually a light breakfast. Hey Amber! Yes!, I use to save my egg shells all the time. I put them on a baking sheet and bake them at a lower temp until they completely dry out. Then I pulverize them in my ninja blender. To a powder. Lol. Then you can just sprinkle them on what you want. I put them on tomatoes, spinach, peppers, and even roses. But I'm pretty sure they are good for a lot more! I do coffee grounds too! My mom saves tea bags, but I'm not sure what plants those are good for. Btw, I always enjoy your videos! Hope you have a wonderful week!🥰

i keep egg shells and dry them in the oven (whenever I am baking smth, I put them into an oven save dish and into the turned off oven with the rest heat) and then grind them in my hands and throw that dust into my bokashi or compost. I prefer to sterilize them due to salmonella, maybe that would not be necessary though, but I prefer to do it like this. The dust has the advantage that it does not take so long until they dissolve into the soil. It is very good for roses I heard, I just like to use them because throwing them out seems a waste if they benefit the garden :)

I take my egg shells and bake them (400F, 10-12 min) then I grind them up and add them to my garden, and also feed them back to my hens (I know some people have issues with this, but they are broken up so fine). Also cinnamon is AMAZING for your garden. Add it to the soil to help with bugs issues. It also triggers the growth hormone in the plants. Also, eggs aren't dairy. My daughter and I are dairy free, we LOVE eggs. I"m not sure why people think eggs are a dairy, but you are not alone in that assumption.
