Amber, to be honest, i don't always like every meal you cook, and that's because everyone in my family (i cook for my elderly parent's and my brother who is 53 and rents the whole bastment, but I cook for him too) has different tastes or not used to eating particular dishes, HOWEVER, I always like at least 2 or all of them. With that being said YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOCKED THESE MEALS OUT OF THE PARK! I am watching for a 2nd time because I am meal planning. THANK YOU Amber for all your hard work! My parents and brother are going to go crazy for these meals! I appreciate you so much! God bless you!

I have the best story about a ruined recipe!! As a young bride, my aunt gave me her recipe for banana bread over the phone. The last ingredient she told me was 1/2 CUP OF NUTMEG!! I said isn't that a lot. She was a little miffed because I asked for her recipe because it was so good and then had the audacity to question it. I had to buy TWO cans of nutmeg to get enough but I did it. As you can imagine it was awful!! My dad, her brother, asked her why she told me to put so much nutmeg in the bread. She didn't say that -- she said nut meat!! I had never heard chopped walnuts called nut meat!! (Use the same recipe now - 52 years later - without nutmeg!!

Again, you never disappoint with your recipes! How come when I sit down and go through Pinterest I cannot come up with recipes as good as yours??!! May I just say, your hair looks so pretty when you wear it straight like you had it in the poke cake recipe. Thanks for inspiring me yet again! I was wondering why that cake fell in the middle and I would imagine it’s bc it was heavy from that applie pie filling. But I’m like you, no big deal. Gonna cover it with whip cream. Happy to see your daughter showing interest

TIP- I balled up 4 balls of aluminum foil and placed it on the bottom of my slow cooker and then placed my whole chicken on top of that so the juices can run off to the bottom instead of veggies or a rack. It works SUPER slick!! 👍🏻

Ok Amber you wanna story about a kitchen disaster here is my tale of horror. One afternoon my hubby and I decided to make homemade pizza. We got all the topping we wanted out n ready. Put the mixture for the pizza dough..yes I cheated with a pizza kit as I mixed up the dough with water it was a bit sticky to my liking so I decided to add flour to it until I got it to the desired texture. I sprayed my pan and preceeded to add some flour to help me spread it out. Now comes the disaster of all disasters. The four wasn't drying out the dough so it would be spreadable so I kept adding. When I was almost done I said I can't believe it took so much flour..um...nope it doesn't but if your using powered sugar it will OMG we just trashed this pizza dough. We decided to make it anyway. Bad idea..we should have started over but we were hungry so we spinned the dice and took a chance..pepperoni hamburger and ham were the toppings. Cooked it tried it and it was horrible. Hubby tried to eat it. He ate almost a slice and I took a bite said nope. I was so mad it was horrid. We threw the whole thing away. Don't recall what we ate in place of it probably some kind of sandwich and chips but yeah..don't mistake powdered sugar as flour. Lesson learned. So that's my kitchen tale of horror. I love your show. I have picky eaters so I don't make alot of your recipes but it gives me great idea when hubby is away I can cook some great food I don't get when everyone is home. That honey bun and breakfast casserole were my favorites. I'm the only one who likes veggies, crazy I know but what ya gonna do. Have a great weekend..God bless you and your family ❤😊
