Today on Feed My Curiosity, we look at the difference between Colgate and Crest. Every time we need a new tube of toothpaste, we simply head out to the store and pick out our favorite. Although Colgate and Crest are two of the most popular favorites, you might be wondering if there's actually any difference between the two, and whether one brand is more beneficial over the other.

My dentist gives little trial size tubes of Colgate after your visit. My orthodontist gives out trial size tubes of Crest. Both are the cheapest original formulas, and both have the ADA seal on the box. I switch around, because I like the different brands & flavors.

I agree, it’s nice to have a little switch up from time to time especially since the taste is a bit different and a good way to see for yourself hands on which one works best for you. Happy Sunday

I am a Crest user and I am glad I switched, as in other countries outside North America they sell Crest as Oral-B even though if I can’t find the Crest brand I will look for the Oral-B equivalent instead.

Crest is better, because it follows a better whitening process along with Oral B. Furthermore, using the following will help with whiter teeth better than Colgate: 1. No Colgate is better because the unique antimicrobial effect of Colgate Total leaves less bacteria to repopulate and form plaque on tooth surfaces

Can't say I've heard of that brand to be honest, I've mainly grew up with Crest and Colgate. Is that a North American brand?

Crest is more sweet. And Colgate is more salty. I think crest makes your mouth feel a lot more fresh for quite awhile. Colgate seems to be very drying in ways too.

I feel it depends on the type you choose from but I can for sure say as someone brushes my teeth that there for sure is a taste different. I tend to use both as silly as that may sound. I've tried the Charcoal flavor for both brands and I gotta say they are very similar in taste. That said the basic or regular Colgate I can say without a doubt taste less appealing than the Crest basic. Aside from taste buds we hope you enjoyed the video! Have a great Monday
