We had our slab poured first, then metal building went up (built by my husband and his son) we had the metal building as a storage shed for a long time, then when we sold our big house, moved here in our RV and lived while we built a house inside the metal building. Our retirement house is 24×36 with a 10×12 addition for the utility room. We also have a 12×26 front porch that is concrete. Nice to have the big porch, its where we entertain visiting family!

Yep Tim you forgot the septic and water access. But that's ok. Up here in cold country you would have to go deeper on the footer. If done safely go under the footer since or so shallow with the footer or drill it through, but that's a lot of work . Sorry brother, the joy's of being the general contractor. With lots of love from your crazy friend in ohio

Tim, I have to give you as much sh!t as you give C'mon. He works very hard on his homestead, doing all the physical work himself, with the help of DD5. You do your consulting job to make the money to hire others to do the work for you. Nothing wrong with that. That's just the difference between you and C'mon. If I didn't love you, I wouldn't razz you. Looking good. Keep it up. Looking forward to more great videos.
