Essaouira is known for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly locals. The medina's relaxed vibe is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Wander the charming alleys without the fear of getting lost, and enjoy the slower pace of life.
▶Amazigh Village
Just an hour before reaching Essaouira, we spent a night in a small Amazigh village. The hospitality of the Amazigh people is unmatched, and the children were delightful guides, showing us around the canyon after their swim.

We met Hakim two years ago, and his shop has become a must-visit for us. For gifts, spices, or perfumes, Hakim offers fair prices and a warm welcome. His shop is filled with beautiful items, and his kind spirit makes the visit special.

We discovered Stefano's jewelry shop by chance two years ago, and my wife has been a fan ever since. Stefano combines his family's metalworking heritage from Italy with his love for design, creating unique and exquisite pieces.

Staying in a riad was a new experience for my wife, and Riad Al Manara did not disappoint. The beautiful interior, quiet atmosphere, comfortable room, and delightful breakfast on the terrace made our stay memorable. To finish off your day with grace, try a quad tour in Diabat. Hamza guided us on a thrilling ride, and it was my wife's first time on a quad - she loved it! It's a fantastic way to explore the beach and enjoy the sunset.
