Could you imagine? Bungie remaking the Marathon trilogy? with music like this? HEAVEN

What are the odds that I am JUST NOW getting into Marathon and not only are the YT Bungie Content Creators making updates on Marathon in lieu of the new extraction shooter I find an OST for Mar 2 Durandal that was posted 21 HOURS AGO! this IS Destiny! great work!

You sir have really taken on the impossible and came out the other side with flying colors! I've always felt these games would be difficult to write music for, and the M2SE really proved that to me. I've gone and played both M2 and MInf with your sets, and your decisions, from quotations, to instrumentation, to when to let the game's own sound shine through are all so well thought out. I've since been recommending your music packs to anyone who wants to play Marathon 2 and Inf. Oh and also thank you for suggesting your awesome music packs be paired with the CFP HD graphics sets on steam. It's funny but I also immediately felt that the two really go well together for a modernized experience, and then I saw you made that!

Thank you so much! I wanted to take advantage of Steam's "plug and play" workshop features which has been a dream for using these games as a platform to build new experiences. I actually would have preferred to have MORE silence on this soundtrack but people didn't like that on Infinity, so now I think it inadvertently created a pretty interesting contrast: M2 which is more traditional has nearly constant music, but MI which is more horrific and dreamlike has these uncomfortable empty spots where you just have to sit with it.

I think the silence is a must for infinity. I can see it no other way. The first level especially. M2 is a little more focused on the combat, so it works as is.

Really outstanding job. I just finished beating the trilogy on Steam and getting every achievement on total carnage. Your soundtracks for 2 and Infinity just took the games to another level for me. "Vergit Iterum Tandem" made Durandal's core feel like a cathedral, and really elevated the emotional impact of that mission. That you for making this!

Thank you! I was actually worried that one might not land but figured it couldn't be that bad since it's basically everyone's favorite track from M1.

This is wonderful! The Trilogy finally feels complete. Although now I'm curious what your treatment of M1 would sound like...

You did it again! Great work. I particularly love "Requiem for a Cyborg" and "If I Had a Rocket Launcher".

Well this is a pleasant surprise! I'll definitely mix these tracks in with the Special Edition OST, credits where they are due. One question: Is the Technomancer album inspired by Shadowrun?
@talashar9321Ай бұрын
It is! I wanted to make music that sounded like it may have come from that setting.
