@@kimberlyr872 Michigan... It's been a lovely summer and it was 55 at 9am today and it's supposed to get to 73 today. All sunny and bright. We were in a weird bubble that missed the oppressive heat. It was awful in most of the US this summer but beautiful and a really nice here this year.

I completely understood your beater smelling like home because I inherited my mom's and every time I use it, I'm transported back to her kitchen and the memories of her baking. It always amazes me to see people decorate for every single holiday, season, sports game, etc. - I decorate a little for Christmas, including a fake tree inside and two fake trees with only lights for the outside, and that's pretty much it .. I could never live with a huge amount of decor all over the place and having to change it up all the time ..

Last fall i printed out a fall leaf pattern and had my little boy tell me 1 thing each day he was thankful for. He colored them and decorated our mantle with them. Simple yet impactfull.❤

So being originally from the UK & my mum was a cook & had resteraunts, when you use beef it’s “COTTAGE PIE & if you use Pork is SHEPHERDS PIE. It’s great to use, corn, carrots, peas mix and we just do gravy instead of cornstarch etc.

I've worked with kids for most of my life. While encouraging them to experiment and practice skills, I would tell them that I loved to play with paint but couldn't draw to save my life. Talk about mixed messages. I've changed that tape to encourage myself and others to practice whatever interests you. Improvement is inevitable. Be aware of negative self-talk. The paintings looked great.

Put some small pumpkins or gourds stacked around your small tree and fluff the branches. Beautiful. Looks cute. I do minimal at my door too! Just getting caught up. Love the bucket kidt sooo fun!

Eleanor did such a great job!! 👏 I am going to try the ghost painting idea, but more of a mixed media collage. Glue in place paper pumpkins, ghosts, leaves made of old book pages, add plastic spiders or spider webs. I have zero painting ability. A couple of my kids are very artistic, too. But they are grown. So this is just a little craft for me to do. Next year I'll do it with grandchildren. They'll be old enough to participate then. Thank you for ideas and for always being so fun to watch 🎃

Fun vlog. Take tape and wrap it around each end of the flower foam. Then the tape will stick to that, to attach it to the vacuum cleaner..

To make your strips stick to foam , leave the plastic packaging on foam blocks. If you’ve already taken the plastic off then just wrap it really tightly with plastic wrap a.k.a. saran wrap and stick your strips to that and if that doesn’t work you can always use a little bit of hot glue. The hot glue will peel off your vacuum when you’re done. Loved the project. totally cute . and , your front porch looks really nice and inviting as well.

Maybe the Velcro command strips for the vacuum/broom so it can be pulled off and put back on. But the command strip that goes on the floral foam, hot glue it to the foam.

Ms. Whisk, you can push your floral foam tightly into a redundant lunchbox. Make sure it is a very snug fit. Then use your command strips underneath the lunchbox to stick it to your roombot. Apply your broom into the floral foam like you did in this video. It should hold up like this.

I have a "regular decor" bin where I put the items that I keep out all year when it's time to decorate seasonally. That way when I go from fall to Christmas decor I don't have the wrong decorations in my bins.
