Doesn't the food saver machines do the same thing with sucking air out of the jar? Mine has an attachment you put over the lids and it sucks out the air and seals the jar.

Hi Chef AJ. Thanks for all the valuable information and encouragement. I got the Bundle and can't wait to dive in. It would be great if you could encourage your guests to invest in a lapel microphone. Listening to this video is akin to hearing someone screaming over the phone on speaker mode (hands free) without a blue tooth. I can't even finish it.
