QUOTES:
“Whether it’s refined carbohydrates, the sugars, the oils, the salt or refined meat foods - you know animal foods that have been highly refined. Either one of those, these high animal protein, high refined carbohydrate diets, these are the things that cause people to be fat, sick, and miserable. This is why we have this epidemic.” [6:16]
“When you’re in a ketonic state, you don’t feel hunger and as a consequence it helps people that are trying to do short-term weight loss. The problem is, what’s good for short-term weight loss isn’t necessarily the same thing that’s best for long-term health stability.” [24:38]
“Now, you might ask me, “Can people eat meat and still maintain optimum weight?” Absolutely. Cause meat isn’t a highly-fractionated, pleasure trap food… The problem with meat is it’s very concentrated, if you eat too much of it, you can have problems.” [40:28]

Thank you Tom so happy to see Alan here, I really hope he can get on JRE even tho him and Joe would disagree and meat diet but Alan would have to take account that Joe is eating so clean of meat, really close to prestige meat so very little modern contamination aside from that in atmosphere...I would love to get Allen’s view on this, any farm raised meat cannot compare at all to any farm raised even Joel Salatinos and he’s got some supper cool stuff going on but it’s not the animals’ nature environment. I know, it’s a crazy run on sentence but not as good as you! Yet!

Fasting is the Bomb.. I went to a two meal a day 80%/20% protein to complex carbs, i.e. broccoli/cauliflower, turnips and green beans 4 days a week to 100% protein 2 days with a 24 hour fast one day. I lost 16 lbs., and my testosterone went through the roof. I recommend a 30 natural parasite cleanse as well, twice a year. At 60 people often believe I am in my early 50's.

Depends on how hungry you are before going to bed, sometimes when you are too hungry you can’t sleep. But sleeping with empty stomach is generally good I think. When you eat and go to sleep right after, your blood sugar level drops and you get hungry in the mrng. Depends on what you eat also.

I have water fasted for 6 days tomorrow I am breaking it. Day 1. I was feeling great but that night my body released everything as if it knew i was going to fast. Day 2. Perfect day. I felt good. No issues Day 3. Headache but still going strong. Had a watery bowel movement. Day 4. Slept for 3-4 hours. It was very difficult to sleep Day 5. Feeling good until I spoke to my loved ones and thry started to tell me this was dangerous. Day 6. Paranoid and I am very cold. Starting to overthink the fast. I'm breaking my fast with bone broth. I am proud I lasted this long. I didn't do jt to lose weight. I did it to get rid of my sweet tooth. I am not craving any sweets so I think it worked!

I have fasted for 14 days. No headache, and no hunger pangs, but I did feel a bit sluggish on the third day as well I had a bit of insomnia, after that it was smooth sailing. My fast was spiritual though which meant I was not on my phone and had no worldly outside distractions. You should do your own research and not rely on people that only repeat what others say without doing the research themselves. Don't take my word for it. My mother fasted for years. She is one of the healthiest people I know. No need to got to the doctor all my life growing up except for when she was having a baby.

Most people that don't understand the benefits of fasting say it's dangerous. They are just ignorant of the information, we haven't lived as long as we have without proper fasting. Feast and fast and that was normal for thousands of years, only past 100 years did that change.

Unfortunately the last time testosterone was checked was a year ago so there is nothing to compare West Fasting and Testosterone. My usual testosterone shot is 250 units on the eighth he said he’d give me a shot 200 units and then do labs again on 19 April. This is my fourth fast and it is my longest the 90 days is just a flag place and then I feel wonderful I look good as far as there’s no dark circles under the eyes I don’t lag I’m still out and about.

I am 67 years old and for most of my adult life, I fast 3-21 days a couple of times a year. It always begins with 3 days, and then every morning after that I pray and meditate on if I am to go another day. Sometimes, I get a clear "no," 3 days is enough. The longest I ever received a clear "yes, one more day" was 21 days. I quit eating meat when I was 17 just because I love animals but had a problem in that I did not like vegetables. After ever fast, I began my reentry to food with some really healthy vegetable that I wished I liked. Spinach, Brussel's sprouts, asparagus, you name it, I love them all. I always tell people, when you have not had food in a week or so, shoe leather probably tastes good.

I am so glad that I have found out about being vegan, I became a vegetarian years ago after seeing a video of animals being tortured when killed just for us to eat and the thought of eating them now makes me sick to my stomach, I got sick when I was very young I lived with my mom in poverty and was eating less than all my friends but overweight did not know why, I know I did not eat for weeks a few years ago and I felt better so I believe all he is saying , I have been vegan for over a year yes it takes discipline only because I go places with friends and the restraunts dont have enough options however I am glad that I know that being vegan is literally a life saver and I am sad I was ever introduced to food that was not plants as I know I would have never gotten sick to begin with

My eyes were as bright and big as a newborn baby's. My allergies completely ceased to exist...I could only sleep for four hours a day and had energy for everything. All inflammation went away...The benefits of 40 days of fasting lasted 7 years...I didn't gain any weight back until I got married, got depressed, had kids and just stopped caring for myself...I want that 40 days back!!!! Side note, I did start seeing apparitions at about day 16 of no food. Like I could see behind the veil😮.

If it’s your first fast , you’re gonna got some walls (getting tired or maybe mild anxiety) just stay with it . When you’re through the wall you’ll feel your body just using your body fat and not being hungry ... ride that wave . Don’t let your brain trick you that you’re hungry the entire time ... you’ll be fine , just stay hydrated... and don’t go on a super long fast on your first try , instead go a little longer on each one of your attempts after that . (Like jogging)

@@supercooled all you're saying is that you are a atheist who has no idea how we got here or why we exist. The Bible is a factual account of mankind's history, including God's chosen race in the old covenant. It reveals how we got here, the fall of man by the entering in of sin, and the ways of God & his power, and his plan to redeem those who will accept his free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Eternal Death (separation from God in torment) came through Adam (the first human being), but Eternal Life came through Jesus Christ, who was sinless (and therefore not deserving of death), but he 'voluntarily' died a torturous death so that you could be saved! God truly wants you to be saved... "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise the way some men think of slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (i.e. acknowledge your sins, regret them, and endeavor not to repeat them, that's what repentance means) and believe that Jesus Christ is the only Messiah for mankind, and that he is risen from the dead) - 2 Peter 3:9 Without the moral law of the Bible you can easily see what is happening in this world, evil starting to spread like wildfire🔥 BTW Jesus was real, not a fairytale... he rose from the dead! ("appearing to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him AFTER HE ROSE from the dead" Acts 10-41), was born of a VIRGIN, walked ON water, fed 5000 people from two fish & loaves, healed the blind and on & on. JESUS IS LORD, the son of God! ..."except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were worse sinners than all men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I am listening to this because I like support while I am fasting and cannot find much in the 'real' world! I am on day 34 of a water fast and plan to finish at 40 days on Labor Day (2023). I lost all hunger pangs long ago and feel I could go beyond 40 days on this fast. The hardest part for me is low energy. I get up at dawn, do chores (feeding cats!) and then go to my art studio to work until 1pm or so. After that I become more and more sedentary. I end the days by reading. I have been fasting since college days long ago, when Dick Gregory was fasting in protest of the Viet Nam war. I am also a vegetarian who has periods of veganism as I eat dairy only occassionally. Perfect vision, perfect health, perfect joints, and honest don't feel any different than when I was 30. And so I start learning about intermittent fasting last year and it all makes perfect sense now. I was crazy lucky. This new understanding is gonna have a huge impact on people's lives.

Best of luck to anyone fasting right now you can do it, make sure to drink water obviously, get your electrolytes if you can it’ll reduce a lot of the nasty side effects and is necessary to aid in your fast. I don’t take potassium because my medicine causes potassium retention, but I take magnesium and occasionally take pink Himalayan salt dissolved in water which is a great replacement for electrolyte drink mix.

I'm a 42 year old female and did a 33 days water fast with electrolytes. Mainly to lose weight. First let me say that you better train yourself with small water fasts here and there before you start a much longer one. It's not for the faint hearted, you better be very motivated and choose the right time to do it, it's very boring and if you are a social person who goes out a lot to dine etc... be ready. It will be very frustrating. I did it unsupervised by a doctor, which was fine until my 4th week where I started to have heart pinches or muscle pinches in my heart area... I decided to stop right there. I got a bit worried. I felt not hungry until my third week but was very tired without energy most of the time, no exercise of course, that would put too much stress on your body and lead to problems. My last was week was difficult. I listened to my body and stopped. I lost 10 kilos. Be very careful with the refeeding... take at least a good week drinking broth/soups to reactivate your digestive system before eating denser foods or you will be sick (diarhrea, nausea etc...).

@@vr9345 Dude, people on KZbin talk about fasting like it’s nothing, OMG, it’s mostly horrible, with a feeling of uplift and control at the end. I’m on another fast, which I call, “go-as-far-as-can” fast…I’m on day 14, and on the 10th day, it felt like someone stuck a fork into my stomach, and started twisting it around. And oddly, I powered through it, and felt okay the next day. But mostly it is: dizziness, headaches, nausea, extreme weakness, and the most disgusting mouth slime. You can brush your mouth, but it’s back 1 hour later. My stomach is already constricting, and upset, add on that mouth stuff, and it makes me wanna dry heave. But it comes in waves…feeling relatively good, then 2 hours later, that sick feeling of hunger is gnawing at you. Day after day. This is the last time I’m doing a prolonged water fast. It’s just too much. I’m miserable. That’s what people don’t tell you. Be careful. Start small. Good luck! Edit: For weight loss, it gives awesome results. I’m managing a pound a day, this will taper off, to less as I get closer to my goal.

I've had a lifestyle of fasting. I've fasted for 19 hours a day for the past 26 years. When I eat the one meal I eat which is dinner I workout for 30 minutes. So I workout daily. I drink plenty of water. For me fasting shows discipline. If you can fast you can do anything you set your mind to. By the way I will be 55 this year and I have never taken any medications and the way I live I plan to live with the help of God into or up to 100. Healthy and with a forgiving heart. Amen

I did a water fast for 30 days last year. I lost 21kg and felt absolutely amazing after day 10. I can’t lie, the beginning was a struggle because I was breaking out from my face and acne came out on my back too, I was sad because everyone was eating around me and mainly just bored out of my mind. After day 10 is when I really started to experience the good things. I felt amazing at this point, I had extra energy and was so hyperactive. My mood was just so positive and I felt physically, mentally and emotionally in control. The best feeling I have ever felt in my life between day 10-30. I wanted to do 40 days but my heart was beating so fast by day 30 so I got scared and stopped. By day 30 I looked like a different person and felt like an athlete. My skin cleared up too. My only issue was about 1 month after my fast I started to lose so much of my hair because I didn’t know I needed to take electrolytes during my fast. This was the worst thing ever. Had to start my hair from scratch again because most of it fell out. At least now I know for my next fast I need to take electrolytes. But honestly guys this is the best thing ever.

Sebi was a fraud. Yes his message about pharmaceutical companies is correct, but mucus isn't the cause of disease. Mucus is essential for the body to function properly. Excess mucus is where the problems start occuring. Also you can't alkaline your body, since our bodys gut has a natural acidic ph level. Our blood is more on the alkaline side, but again can not be moved dramatically unless you wanna die.

@@cynthiagreer645 Yeah and I know plenty of people who have cured auto immune diseases, cancer, eczema, ibs, asthma/allergies etc. From simply changing their diet to predominantly animal base. This contradicts his message about animal products and mucus are the problem. Obviously switching to a diet full of greens is gonna clear problems up in the short term. Your doing yourself a favour by fasting. Before people start his diet they are most definitely not just eating meat, but also process foods with heaps of sugar, refined carbs etc. Sugar is the enemy not saturated fats and cholesterol. Cholesterol only is bad when the diet is high in sugar, fructose, glucose, sucrose etc. Fat is the best fuel source, it is humans natural fuel source - the one we thrive on the best. A carb fuel source will have you feeling depleted and not performing at your most optimal state. If this dr sebi diet was so good, being it is a plant only diet basically a vegan diet. Why is it that down the track most vegans end up quitting due to problems faced from a lack of animal nutrition and an over accumulation of plant toxins - polyphenols, oxalates, lectins etc. Maybe do a little bit more research and digging. 16 “WHEN YOU FAST, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. I did 40 days fasting on water when I was 49. (16 years ago). I drunk only half liter 0f water dayly, I lost only 19 kg. This helped me to free from alcohol addiction. nervousness and cleaned my body from many toxins, I manged to retain my strengh all through the whole fast. Meditation is a great help during fasting. I have metabolic syndrome T2, but I began intermittent fasting + keto/carnivore diet three months ago. It's working. My glucose numbers are coming down. However, I would like to begin a 36 day water fast, as a challenge. I hope I'm healthy enough. I'm very excited about this. It's not about weight loss so much; it's more about keeping my sugars down, and "restarting my insulin resistant body." Wish me luck. :)

I really love this podcast. I’ve watched it twice. I know the host interrupts the doctor repeatedly (I’m sorry, Doctor), but the host asks questions that are in my mind every time, and I assume most viewers’ minds. The doctor forgets that most of us have no idea of the whys and wherefores of his science, but NEED TO KNOW, because I for one will not blindly follow anything, just because. THANK YOU BOTH for your critical roles in bringing this important science to viewers.

Third day and breaking the fast today due to training next week. Felt overall pleasant with some excruciating points mainly first morning first day which is day is psychological. I will be eating 23/1 from today for two days, 17/7 next two days so the extra meal can fuel training and then back to 3 meals a day but far less processed. Started out of frustration with binge eating last two month and felt drawn to bottled water past week getting bombarded by how better it was. Stumbled on this video and thought am injured, can't train how I'd like, get my Friedrich Nietzsche Amor fati on and water fast! My cravings for processed food subsided and actually find myself feenin for strawberries, egg sandwich, chicken salad rice and Jamaican dinners! Will run it again in the future for 5-7 days next time and probably do this once a year.
