I always loved the Imaginarium album, but I'd never seen this video before. The song always made me think of black and white films with private detectives. Anette in a red dress certainly gives off some Jessica Rabbit vibes.

Nightwish is a very versatile band. They are able to adapt other genres to metal music as well. If there was symphonic jazz metal, this would probably be it! 😂 Tuomas shows again how versatile a song writer he is. And how the band can play in different ways when needed!

This is the song I love best with Anette - her voice is made for this kind of music. In the background you can see pictures from the movie "Imaginaerum". I think the main reason for Anette not to want Floor stand in for her on the US tour 2012 was that Anette is not a metal singer - her beautiful voice is better with jazz, pop and some kind of rock. She feared when the fans have heard a real metal singer with Nightwish they don't want her any longer - she has been right. But besides this she also is a great singer and perfect for the songs Tuomas has written for her.

there are two versions in my opinion which are good. This one with Anette (high video and audio quality) and the one with Floor (she sings a bit more refined/detailed but doesnt matter much, because Anette also did a really good job and her voice fits as well. Floors version is unfortunately of a lesser pruduction quality - fan video. I talk here about the old version with Nightwish. There is a newer version with Floor which I like less, because this was done with another band, a good one but without Nightwish greater musicality and feeling for getting the point = the buildup and things like the 'guitar solos' are inferior to the Nightwish version. Btw, a good example why Nightwish is extraordinary. Just like Floor they make also superior covers or 'other genre' stuff (because being great prof. musicians/composer in general) ...
