Tiffany, you worry too much!! When I got chemo 13 years ago, I did nothing, really NOTHING, about 5 months, besides little exercises, force myself to eat, and not speak anymore. You do so much, you keep yourself busy and you are so strong. I wasn’t. And you talk about not being 💯 yourself. How could you?? You are on chemo and your body has to rest. Rest rest rest. You do fantastic! Love from Germany 💜

I agree with the comment above. I finished chemo almost ten years ago and it took me a year to really recover. I was 60 years old at the time, so much older, but I remember clearly that each round it took a few more days to recover from the fatigue and blah tummy issues. The second to the last round I remember sitting on the sofa crying because my carpet needed to be vacuumed so badly and I just didn’t have the strength to do it. I had to sit and look at until my husband came home. It devastated me to feel so helpless. I remember wondering if I will ever be the same person. Well… fast forward almost ten years and I’m not the same…I am WAY better than I was before cancer. We have a little farm and at the age of 70 I do most of the chores myself as my husband runs our business. I made it my purpose in life to recover and be healthier than ever. I am way better than I was at 60. So… my sweet Tiffany don’t be so worried or so hard on yourself. You are doing so well. I am amazed at what you manage to do. Even with all you are going through you have a spark that is a joy to watch. It does get a little harder each round but keep in mind you are half way through and the end of this is nearer each day. You are so blessed with Matt and Amma at your side. I have no doubt you will weather this all just fine in the end. Sending love and prayers from Illinois in the USA. ❤️🙏🏻

Dear Tiffany, it is okay to rest. Remember feeling poorly mentally can be caused by how poorly you feel physically. I feel depressed when I am really ill. It is hard to not be when the physiological affects the brain as well as the body. Something I learned when I was in a recovery program was to time emotions. I tell myself be angry or sad or whatever for 15 minutes and then get on with my day. This really helped after my father passed away and I still needed to go to work and show up for other things as well. If something came up emotionally during the day while I needed to attend to my job, I just prayed to have time later to process it. You are doing well. No one is positive 24/7. It is good to focus on being positive but to know things are in flux while your body heals and processes the powerful drugs going through your body.

Your instincts are spot on about NOT taking your ring off!!!! I took mine off once & it disappeared for 9 years. It magically appeared in a jar of jewelry cleaner - -- had put it there to clean & then promptly forgot. So scared me at the time--we replaced it but It kept coming back to me. Finding the ring was such a surprise. Figured it was meant to be because we had been married over 50 yrs. Now it is 61 yrs. & I dont take my ring off, ever.

Tiff, as a fellow chemo patient with similar side effects , who’s a doctor and a skin care afficianado - use aqueous cream ( e45) to moisturize and then layer the aquahor or the Epimax Etcetera over the top to prevent transdermal water loss. I also use sudocrem and layer benpanthen over the top. This has worked for me. Twice a day. Sometimes three times a day!

I recommend following the GOMB "diet". It is pronounced like "comb" but with a "g" instead of a "c". My dad was a brilliant physician and thought this eating regime was excellent for anti-inflammatory & anti-cancer. The "G" stands for GREENS. This includes spinach, broccoli, lettuces, kale, etc. The "O" stands for ONIONS ! The "M" stands for MUSHROOMS! The "B" is for BEANS & BERRIES! The "S" stands for "SEEDS"!

I have come to understand that after chemo the body can become susceptible to a form of candida or another type of fungal infection. Similar to being on antibiotics for some time. This should clear up after your chemo treatment. Probiotics can be helpful for some. Not being in the sun too much also. You are a very special person and are handling this in a way that is worthy of imitation. Sending love. ♥

I feel like Tiffany does in this video every day of my life, battling chronic fatigue and clinical depression since age 12, so that part is too relatable, although I'm blessed in that I am not battling cancer and chemo side effects. Tiffany's spirit is so bright and she's so full of life that even chemo can't keep her down! I find these videos inspiring and, against all odds and my own sad nature, I try to emulate the positivity.

Tiffany as your body is adjusting to the Chemo treatments you will have days where you will experience chronic fatigue. On those days it’s best to listen to your body and rest as much as possible. If you let yourself get too fatigued you’ll be lowering your immune system leaving you vulnerable to infections. So always listen to your body when your energy levels are low. Get the rest and rebuild the energy. On days that you feel good make the most of it with taking walks enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. There will be days of low energy just mark in your journal when they are such as the day after a chemo treatment, the day after Baxter is removed and pic line flushing at the hospital. So you can expect those days after each cycle of treatment. Instead of drinking sprite when you have an upset stomach try drinking a flat ginger ale. Sometimes the carbonation is enough to make you feel bloated which is why to drink it flat. You can add ice to make it chilled. Keeping you in prayers that this chemo is working to get you into remission. I had friends that used to do chemo treatments every third week as a way of maintaining their cancer. This was well before they combined immunotherapy with chemo. Back then treatments were either chemo or radiation or both then surgery after the tumors had shrunk to a size that it was safe to be surgically removed. We got this, Tiffany 🙏🙏💙💙🙏🙏

Tiffany, you might try an oatmeal bath in warm but not hot water. Just dump some in the tub and swish it around and soak to your neck. Gently pat some on your face. Rinsing is up to you. For oats it is just the old fashioned oats you eat for breakfast. If you want the water to smell good sprinkle in some rose petals. I hope this brings you some relief, I suppose if it doesn't you can make cookies with the leftover oats. Blessings to you sweet girl and yes, MIFFY BALL RECIPE PLEASE!

You can only do you Tiiffany. If you want to howl at the moon, do it, if it makes you laugh or feel better, go for it. The good thing about advice is that you don't have to take it. We all have diifferent opinions, so read through it all, and do the one/s that resonate with you, ignore the rest. It's very nice that people are telling you what worked for them, and that's great, someone else in the comments may need to hear it, but being grateful doesn't mean you have to turn yourself inside out doing it all. Forgive yourself, don't beat yourself up, the chemo is already doing that! From a fellow stationery

Love your blue top Tiffany so cosy must look for a few more. Asty is getting so big. Maybe sleepovers are not a good thing at the moment. Book shop trip maybe. He will remember but shorter trips he will remember too. Or sleep over when he comes over for tea and cosy not trips out in that day. I met a young woman at the job centre years ago and she had grown up and she asked me my name and said she was talking about me to her boyfriend. She thanked me for taking her to a day out on the Waverley and ice skating when she was little as she lived with her dad and gran after a bitter divorce. It is nice when children grow up and remember and thank you. So you need all your energy to deal with your treatment which must exhaust you. Your videos are so inspiring and educational and fun in a way. Work out a plan to see the children but factor in your energy levels that has to be a priority.xx
