I think the blanket quilting was done with ultrasonic welding. It’s how surgical masks are also done, as well as any polyester fabric that can be heat fused together.

Aww, is she like 18 months or so? My kids hear Ukrainian when I talk to my mom, and English when I talk to my husband, so they started talking later, so I can never tell based on that how old babies are, and the ones who talk more than mine did at that age seemed advanced to me, but I remind myself they probably only speak one language. She’s so cute, and reminds me of my daughter when she was little.🥰 She’s gonna be 11 years old this month! 🥹

At my university we have a machine that is used to fuse synthetic fabrics together (it creates the same effect as the one that your fabric has). It kind of looks like a sewing machine but instead of sewing, it creates a row of these fusing points with ultrasounds (which blew my mind btw). I've used it once, and let me tell you, it stinks like hell and it also makes this awful high-pitched sound 😆

I know, "editing", but everything and everyone looked so magical so comfortable that it relaxed my holiday tension. Loved the Mom and Daughter jackets. That quilt was quite the find!
