It is indeed getting worse. I appreciate so much that Sting is honest about that. Here in Indonesia, the odds seem nearly insurmountable. But I'm going to keep plugging away. I think the WOW factor of seeing what is really going on is a way to change people. We sit at a very important time in regards to this, with social media, we can really get the word out there and with programs like Google Earth, you can show people exactly what is happening. I've seen it on people's faces before - when I show them via satellite image what is happening in Borneo and Sumatra and what has just begun in New Guinea. It's a horrified look. It sends chills up my spine, not so much to see the fear, but to see that this person maybe has begun a process of changing. All that aside, best way to curb the destruction in this particular country (and our neighbor Malaysia) is to BOYCOTT PALM OIL. It's bad for you, it tastes like crap compared to all the other substitutes, and it is killing the rainforest. Not bit by bit. Try mile by mile. We need to stop NOW!

Sting n´ his wife are doing a heroic work for the Rainforest; sad to hear ( its´the truth though ) that there are overwelming powers to cut it down...what will be of the world for coming generations...we are supposed to work for humanity...come on everybody!!

How much electricity does it take to maintain Sting's castle, or his other five homes/flats? How many private jets to fly around the world to play his music? Lots of carbon emissions to support their extravagant lifestyle, but let's lecture the world and tell others they have to make sacrifices. Practice what you preach...downsize and provide an example, but virtue signalling is easier. Soul Cages is a great album though.
