Thanks for this! I painted this after nearly 4 years of not picking up a brush. It was very fun. I had eczema too and my solution came from abandoning commercial soaps and lotions. I opted to make my own and the first day I tried it, the eczema was cured miraculously. Turns out it was an allergy.

Hi love your video, u r so talented! I also love the way u explain as you go, I’m a new artist so any tips& tricks are much appreciated! I and my daughter has eczema & I have psoriasis, & know exactly what ur going , try putting Aquaphor on ur hands I mean put thick amounts on both hands then put gloves on. If u can even sleep with gloves on, such a huge relief I do it all the time, unfortunately my daughter refuses but she’s little. Thank u again

Eczema sufferer here. I have found I love the good old fashioned pink calamine "lotion" it's more liquid and super messy until it dries. To avoid a mess I use a cotton round to soak up alot of the water in it and rub that on. Helps with the itch more than anything I've used. That dries it out (I know it sounds like that last thing you want but it helps) then for the moisturizer, it's made by Shae moisture and its the body lotion and is the best I've used so far. And I have a large tub full of lotions and ointments I've tried. Then for the soap, find a local soap crafter and seek out an unscented pine tar soap with charcoal.

Thank you so mid for these awesome tips! I never thought of using calamine lotion, that makes so much sense! I am going to try that next time🙂 Thanks again Angela🙏

This painting is so gorgeous! I know I’m a little late but I like you have eczema, try using CeraVe moisturizing cream. It’s been such a lifesaver for me personally. Have not had a flare up in over a year :)
@feelingnifty3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for letting me know Nancy ❤️It’s so relieving to find something that works and limits the flare ups. Just bought some and plan on using it.

I am having problems with blending the colors using the sponge, I'm tapping the canvas but it won't smear
@feelingnifty3 жыл бұрын
Hi Terri, are the paints on the canvas too thin/dried when you try the blend by any chance? Acrylics become very challenging to work with when they start to dry. If they are, you can either add a thicker layer of paint or try reactivating the acrylics by misting it with water. While paint is still wet, blending with the sponge should be easy. If there’s something else going on, let me know and we can go from there. Cheers, Jasmine
