@GermanJobbies I hit peak nervous a few days ago, but I've done all the prep I can now. Just making finishing touches to bike over weekend. Spares being carried : (They are actually laid out in front of me atm) Clutch plate kit, clutch case gasket, clutch cable, fuel pump, fuel pump ass o-rings, fuel filter, rocker cover gasket, spark plug, brake pads, spare section of original chain with split links, ignition coil, reg rec, water pump seal kit, 2 oil filter kits, 1 air filter, combination of wheel bearings to cover both wheels but not duplicating common bearings, wheel bearing seal, fork seals and number plate. All stuff that costs next to nothing here, but would cost a fortune to ship out to the places I'm going to. Oh aye, half a tube of gasket goo, tube of chemical steel putty, tube of chemical metal. All small stuff that will pack into each other inside tuperware boxes, which will sit in the very bottom, very front of my panniers to keep the weight low and forward. I'll be doing a "What I pack" video once I'm a few weeks into the trip, and will do a bit about this and the tools I carry. I've done all my servicing, valves and everything with the tools I will carry so I am as near self sufficient as possible.

@GermanJobbies Nah, I've not managed to arrange a tracker or anything like that yet, but if all goes to plan I'll be publishing a video every 4-5 days, and if I can't manage to pull an edit together I'll be sure to post on my community page/Facebook so folk know I'm still alive 😆

Cheers mate. Bit of a gamble obviously but 🤷‍♂️🤣 I have some TET stuff "near" me thats doable on a Saturday and Sunday kinda trip the Strom would probably handle them but I would never be able to pick it up so this lill thing should be easier and less intimidating for me off road.

Theyre pretty good for engine size. I think you need to do the usual ktm thing though. Ride up stairs 😂😂

😅I agree! Yeah it was only a short run about but because the bike is so light compared to the strom it felt really fun. It has a nice amount of punch when revved. So far it feels lovely 🫡
