Always the best. Was just trying to compare the T7 (as it’s a lightning deal right now) and the MA5 (which you recommended for the BMPCC6k), and I trust your word completely, so this helps a lot. Thanks, Tom.

I have been using a Feelworld F7S for about six months and have been super impressed with it. We also have a Small HD AC7 and an Ikan VK7i but we much prefer the Feelworld F7S. The Feelworld F7S has an excellent full HD (1920x1200) IPS screen, great features at a great price.

I've been using the F570 now for around six months and it's an excellent monitor. I'm hoping that Feelworld bring out the exact same design in a 2200 nits version, as that would be the icing on the cake. I also like the fact that the inputs/outputs on the F570 are on the bottom of the monitor, as they are then out of the way on my rig. If they were on the side, they'd always be vulnerable to damage or disconnection.
@RickyCheung5 жыл бұрын
What's the difference from F570 vs MA5? Thanks man.
@AustralianImage5 жыл бұрын
The major difference is size, 5" vs 5.7" and the input/output sockets are in a different position (sides), plus a few other design differences. But I think it's now a superseded model as Feelworld doesn't list it anymore.

I realize this video is over a year old now. I am looking for a monitor to use with my GH5. I am stuck between the two sizes. The bigger one and brighter one will help a lot when outside, but the smaller one would be better for travel and gimbal work.

Thanks for a nice review, Tom. I initially bought an Atomos Shogun Inferno recorder from B&H with power pack and a 2TB SSD, after I was told by the salesperson that I could record 4k 60 fps to this recorder, using my Canon 1Dx mark ii. Long story short, he was dead wrong, and as I found out, my camera doesn't even output ANY 4k signal, so I am hoping you would be able to help me answer a single question (since I am a brand new kid on the block when it comes to external monitors/recorders). Since I am shooting my videos with Canon 1Dx mark ii, and I like my footage in 4k 60 fps, and since I can't externally record 4k 60 fps using this camera, the next best thing is to make the internal recording with 4k 60 fps, and here is my question... If I am recording internally 4k 60 fps on my 1Dx ii, do I need a monitor that's capable of displaying 4k 60 fps? In other words, if I purchase a monitor that (for example) is only capable of displaying 4k 30 fps, (or even is only capable of displaying 1080 60 fps), would I still be able to make the internal 4k 60 fps recording, while monitoring the recording in progress on an external monitor for focus, and overall image analysis? Thank you.
@TomAntos5 жыл бұрын
The monitor will not affect how the camera records internally. Inost cases when cameras record 60fps in 4k they still output only a 30fps signal and I'm pretty sure the 1dx outputs in 1080p 30fps which is what you will see on your external monitor and what is all you need to be able to pull focus

Hi Tom, with the intention of using it some outside with a bmpcc 4k - how does the 7" 2200nit monitor compare to the andycine (a6) that you used before? I find the size of the Feelworld f6 (plus) which is the new version of the same screen (andycine a6) with touch options attractive - I wonder if the 7" will feel cumbersome compared to the 5" of the other FW but one would need a hood and the other doesn't. Seeing as you basically have used both - how does the andycine a6 / fw f6 seem to you now?

If they make a 6" with the 2000 nits and pop in a good waveform...I'm in! :) I want the FW279S in the meantime. Just a bit too big and lacking a waveform. But the price for the HDMI only one is very attractive. 5" and dull is just no better than the P4K's screen, really.
