I'd agree with Feixiao being the most F2P friendly but I do also have to bring up that Ratio had one of the most cost effective Hypercarry setups as Tingyun and Pela were bis for him and in some cases Tingyun is still better than Robin. But I also have to say Boothill is slept on considerably as yes he would like both Ruan Mei and his LC, he's shown to not only perform well without them, he performs better than Firefly in a lot of scenarios, probably more than is mentioned.

Boothill isn't slept on ur crazy also he does better then firefly in single burst and if you have bronya even better ur doing one more atk then firefly so there would be two dead by now compared to firefly

In my opinion as someone who played for 4 months firefly is the best for beginner f2p, break effect will always be easier to build than CRIT, I literally build my firefly for just one day and she instantly became my best Dps, while right now I'm currently building Fiexiao for 7 days I have ROBIN and firefly is still stronger cause my luck sucks, also I Will emphasize this RUAN MEI is good but is definitely replaceable, Firefly works without RUAN MEI just not as good, I literally waited for a week before deciding to pull for RUAN MEI and during that time I still cleared AS and MOC using PELA(i have boothill for other side), Fiexiao is currently the strongest but you need heavy investment or luck but FIREFLY is definitely more f2p friendly but she is locked with HMC and really useless without her

I would say (me being biased) Acheron is more f2p simply because to get near max Acheron, you need A. 4 Star light cone B. Two 4 star nihility characters However You still have a Point (My firefly dont be hittin)

I knew getting adventurine when he first came out was a great move. My son tried to talk me out of it. He’s been a game changer for me.

Be it 4 star or 5 star, follow-up attack is expensive to build compared to super break team

Imo firefly is the best f2p friendly. Break effect stats are so much easier to get than crit rolls. Plus she has a good f2p lc and free hmc! Also her premium team is not that expensive! I'm glad I started hsr on Firefly banner.

I would say Robin is to Feixiao, like RM is to Firefly, as well as JQ is to Acheron. All v important puzzle pieces if you want to main those respective units. Best start for a new f2p now is to pick up copy of both Feixiao and Robin, then can look ahead to put together 2nd endgame team following the latest meta team archetype that comes next

I think, Feixiao doesn't need Robin as much as FF needs RM and Acheron was until at bare minimun on par with FF even without JQ. Also best way to start new F2P is to choose two DPS to build two teams, clear MoC and AS and use jades you earn to get Robin/Ruan Mei. Having two decent teams is more important, because no matter how OP team you make, it cannot break game enough to be on both sides of MoC at once.

Feixiao has options for being f2p friendly but shes a crit dps which requires investment when i hear f2p friendly i want someone whos easy to invest in like firefly since all u need is break effect and while harmony mc is locked behind story they give them to us for free not sure if thats still up thou but you can say the same with march 7th also crit dps take a long time to get the perfect stats they need to do the dmg you want them to do

It's a weird spot because if you just started then obviously she's a monster unit that will carry you, but If you started with the free Dr Ratio and you're f2p... IMO skip. The difference between the two units is small enough that while she's better, she's not a big enough increase over getting a character that can fill an entirely new role. Personally I think Robin is too easy to recommend, she might not feel like a carry but she pumps like a carry and If we're talking about a team with march and moze and f2p stuff, Robin enables them just as hard as Feixiao.

I have e2s1 Feixiao on my main account. I started a reroll account a couple weeks before her release and saved everything after pulling the beginner 5 star with hopes of pulling her and Moze with at least a couple eidolons to use with March 7th when I get that far in the game. I pulled Welt from the beginner banner, then the banner dropped, and I spent all my saved pulls and stellar jades and got... a Welt eidolon and e2 Moze...

I kinda don't agree with this. Granted, Feixiao has a lot of options for teams like utilising her in hypercarry teams, her best team is still quite expensive. Yeah, you have M7 and Moze as a replacement for Topaz, but Aventurine is her BiS sustainer while Robin is just pretty much the strongest harmony character for FUA. For people who are casually playing the game and are not really that good in the battle side of things (like myself), just missing out on those two and having to run the hypercarry teams wouldn't honestly be ideal. Additionally, the hypercarry set-up would still require someone like Bronya or Sparkle which are standard and limited five stars, respectively. The only real F2P Feixiao teammate in that set-up would be Gallagher. Honestly, I think the real DPS that's friendly to F2P would be Firefly, as she has one four star, one 5 star for free, and one limited five star as her BiS. You can argue with Lingsha, but its not like Gallagher is heavily crept by Lingsha on a Firefly team, especially at E0.

To be honest for what they give you March 7 and Moze are a steal and one of them come as E6 for free.

This is a joke, right? Firefly is stuck with 1 limited character (Ruan Mei) and removing her, reduces the composition's damage by around 70%, it's brutal, there is no replacement that even comes close to Ruan Mei. Not to mention that Firefly needs sustain sp+ and basically only has Galagher and Luocha. Feixao on the other hand, works both in Critical Hypercarry and FuA, without a brutal drop in total damage with Hyper. Hypercarry, everyone knows, +2 or 3 damage amplifiers, which there are in abundance. FuA, just put her with March/Moze/Topaz, I've even seen Herta and Jade, all of that already constitutes FuA. Amplifiers, well, Robin is your BiS, but unlike Firefly it falls a lot without RM, Feixao works well with Bronya, Sparkle, Jiaoqui, in addition to the F2P options. This drops your damage, but not as much as FF without RM. About Sustain, Aventurine is the best, but Galagher and Lingsha work, because of the high frequency of attacks, Gg due to Ult and Lingsha due to summoning. Feixao is less dependent on Aventurine's FuA than Firefly is on the SP provided by Galagher.

As you yourself said, we have M7 and Moze, there is zero reasons to run hypercarry and Bronya can be chosen for guaranteed 5*. Also yes, Gallagher work extremelly well as budged option. Obviously character that can be run with 3x4* (or 2x4* and 1 guaranteed 5*) gonna be more F2P than one that require 1 limited 5* (Ruan Mei doesn't have any budged option).

I don't understand what you are trying to argue. How is Aventurine being her best sustain, Topaz being her best sub dps, and Robin being her best harmony make Feixiao not F2P. You simply listed Feixiao's best possible team. A characters best possible team does not make them F2P friendly or not F2P friendly. A F2P friendly character should be able to clear all content in the game with 4 star teammates. Feixiao is completely playable using Moze, March 7th, and Gallagher. Her F2P team is able to clear all the content in the game with full stars.

@@Justin-ud9rr I'm referring to this in comparison to ff who has 2 teammates you could get easily. Like 2 of ff's bis members are easily gotten., while Feixiaos require 3 limited five star for her bis. For me, being f2p would need a units best state to be as easily to get as possible. People with ff are able to get her premium team with only Ruan Mei as the only one you'd likely need to pull for since Gallagher has been part of previous banners rate up while HMC is free.

I really feel like moze is only really good if you have him at E6, I already had all the pieces of the puzzle for the signature FUA team feixiao was the missing piece for me

Acheron is f2p friendly, she only needs Pela and Gui/Sampo and she'll be good to go with gal as the sustain. It was crazy that people made a big deal over needing 2 nihility like them ignoring an entire path was Hoyos fault. A team of 4stars to back her up with one being free, she can even use whatever Crit gear you already had on another DPS. I'm just saying that this isn't something special, the last 3 DPS characters have come out with similar value....

I agree most dps in general are f2p friendly as Tingyun, Pela, March 7th, Bronya, Harmony MC are the 2nd best supports for most of the roster. Sustains are mostly luxury slot Aventurine is still my only limited sustain. At most 2-3 5 stars on a team(limited dps, limited support and maybe limited sustain if you are not using Gallagher) and you will clear content easily. Would say Acheron is a just a bit less f2p friendly since Good Night Sleep Well is her best 4 star lightcone option and the free Nihility lightcones are all not that good for Acheron.

Wait, so Feixiao is more f2p friendly bc she has two 4 stars that work with her one, You get e6 for free, and the other is just worse unless you get e2, which is hard to guarantee. Has good lc options one of which you bring up being the herta store lc, which you need to build up points just like you would for FF to get her the destruction one. You also get HMC for free much like m7 both e6, and gallagher was free aswell. Firefly peaks with ruan mei but is absolutely playable without her kind of exactly like how feixiao peaks with topaz, robin and aventurine but is playable without them.

If you're free to play you focus on Robin as that's the character with the most value, pull for who you want and love of course just know that the game isn't going to get easier.

Sure, it's great to have character that allows you to have good team one day in distant future, but if you pull just for supports, because DPS don't have such value, you will never have team and never clear anything.

@TheTenzen12 I'm not saying just pull supports, I'm saying focus first, supports can buff everyone while a dps needs to be buffed, some have support like features, like I said pull for who you want it's going to be different for every account.

@@jamesdavid2893 And I am saying that's exactly wrong. If you focus on Support you will not clear game. In fact even sustains are more important than supports early in the game. First you need to do damage, then you need to make sure that one that does damage is able to survive enough to kill the enemy and then at the very last you can worry about buffs. Sure eventually you can drop sustain and run 3 harmonies and 1 DPS if you want, but that's the very last step (and you still need that 1 DPS).

@@jamesdavid2893 That's biggest straw man I ever seen. You are wrong not because you make suggestion, but because your suggestion is wrong and thus doesn't help anyone. Also of course there is a cap on DPS and support buff damage to the sky. Everyone and their grandmother knows that, but if there is no DPS there is nothing to buff. Even if the support was to double damage, 2x0 is still 0. If you are able build some meme team with hyper carry Sparkle, go for it, but my Feixiao/M7/Gallagher/Bronya will perform better.
