Feixiao is really fun now. Acheron and firefly was fun too when they came out. I would say pick your fun/fave dps first, then pick up key puzzle pieces to make them better, but dont overinvest (e1 or s1 max) so you can save up for the next fun thing that comes out

Whatever the case. I never regret investing all my saved up jades for an E2 Acheron on her release. She cleared everything before I got the premium supports/utilities. Can't wait for her rerun to get that E6.

Aventurine suffers when thrs too much dot/debuff enemies So in that case Huohuo or Lingsha would be far better Besides that, she offers the same quality sustain as fu xuan and aventurine So if u have 2 premium sustain, u can skip her for general content But if u want to improve your Firefly/Rappa team, then shes a must pull, her dmg output is crazy and the buffs she gives to the team is really good Ppl cope so hard with gallager its not even funny , galager is comparable to others 4* sustain but lingsha just kills him in so many ways 😂 Still shes Niche for break ,so up to ppl if wants to see more dmg on their break team Sadge her design is wasted on such a boring and lame team

Crazy sup I've come up with for Acheron. A preservation unit that makes the enemy atk them whenever a debuff is inflicted upon them, so when they hit the Preserv unit, they take a debuff and further boosting the speed at which acheron can charge her ult. How this unit sustain is when an enemy strikes, for every debuff on them, the team gains a shield x the amount of debuffs. A harmony debuff centric unit for this archetype would be like robin, when a debuff is applied, it would be beneficial to make then take damage like how robin works or reduce toughness. Even is make her the opposite of Jiaoqiu and allows her to apply a debuff whenever an ally takes their turn. She cut in like Luocha and just debuff the enemy.

She is insanely good to best in all 3 mode thus far, only has one support that is a catalyst for her Achetype. People keep arguing that she has peak, but its not even close. This whole debacle is the same with Jingliu and DhIl back in the day. They kept getting compared and jing would edge out with the extra premium units that works with her, but dhil just has better ceiling.

I totally agree with you. Feixiao is already at her peak dmge on release with her dedicated 5* team while acheron only has jiaoqiu as her dedicated support. Can't wait for a 5* limited preservation and harmony that fully synergizes with her ult stacking kit.

For me both are valuable specially because they can be interchangebable in the team comps Huo Huo and Fu Xuan already can say have their niche in teams but still not to the level the other 2 and yeah Buffers , Debuffers , Shielders and Healers have more value than any Dps to any account like example if you don't have Black Swan for your Acheron and Kafka teams Jiaoqiu is a 2nd best option for them If You don't have Ruan Mei , Robin is 2nd best option and if you don't have both Sparkle is 3nd best option and if you don't have those 3 Bronya is a close 4th option and if you don't have her either Tingyun , Asta , Hanya I cannot say the same for Harmony Trailblazer because Caelus/Stelle is depends on Ruan Mei at least for now until another Support that provides the same or better support than Ruan Mei comes in the future and Replace her as another option Yukong her effects are great in the text but in practice are inconsistent specially if she is not at E6 she is a bit more consistent there but still not the best option out of the 9 Harmony Characters that are currectly but still is a solid option

META will always be better to fill a certain niche. in this case Lingsha. leaks of "summon" gameplay meta coming next possibly Sunday as core support

Aventurine is the only limited character I want with the exception of Robin. He's a gambler. That's enough for me 😅

both are good. But honestly break effect comps are locked behind HMC. without him break effect lose almost half of the efficiency. It has sme issue like hypercary comps with Acheron or DHIL ,you cant make Acheron team without Acheron meanwhile FUA comps arent locked to specific character. We need more characters who boost Break efficiency like HMC .just dont make it stackable. Also more DoT supports to bring back DoT mechanics in to play . And maybe new summon mechanics? why not ,the more mechanics the more fun. Right now FUA mechanic is at the top ,we have plenty of characters to make 2 or 3 teams.

I choose Aventurine. I have a E6 Gallagher and his also built him, a healer is useless if my Acheron is dead, I had experienced the worst RNG where all enemy attacks my Main DPS while my supports are very healthy, Gepard shield is also slow with some content.

Acheron being brain-dead easy to play with big damage per screenshot numbers is why the community has such skewed and biased opinions towards her. Don't get me wrong she's still strong enough to be a top 5 dps but her days of being number 1 are behind her. Currently the top 5 dps in the game are - 1. Feixiao (undisputed best, a true damage per second unit, has flexible teams to combat any type of content, also she doesn't care much about crit damage stat as she gets it from her teammates and set bonuses making her a bit easier to build as well) 2. Firefly (as much as I don't like her, she's undoubtedly hoyo's favourite child and has a lot of content catered towards her and the entire superbreak concept is just broken as everyone on the team is doing damage, just like FuA) 3. Yunli (this was a sleeper hit, she's proving to be incredibly strong and consistent throughout all game modes, a solid unit all-round, the meta being catered to FuA/counter is another reason why she's up here) 4. Boothill (Mr. Forgotten, but meta players know his potential and he is undoubtedly one of the best if you know what you're doing, he's also the only unit that has 0 Cycle without a light cone. Also he can be played in both Traditional break as well as Superbreak teams while being super easy to build, he does struggle in PF but thats quite literally the only thing that stops him going higher on this list) 5. Acheron (Easy to play, no brain required, works in all gamemodes, she's very investment heavy tho needs very good relics, at e0 S0 she's nothing special, she's practically an Argenti with rainbow toughness dmg ult. She is the only unit on the team that's doing damage unless you're playing DoTcheron and even that variant of her team isn't quite as powerful as the FuA Mafia or the Superbreak Cartel)

Acheron will be top tier for a while still. She's a multiple enemy hitter, that in itself is a great thing. Grabbing her e2 will be a great investment since she's already e1 s1 (got stupid luck on her and cone banner but that was the only "crazy" summons I've had in over a yr) not hating btw bc that means I'm due soon haha

See, the core problem with DoT is that it already has a ton of comfort. Between Huohuo's ATK boost and energy regen, Kafka's ability to frontload DoT damage, and Black Swan's Arcana stacks being able to do some major work, a dedicated Harmony probably wouldn't be necessary. DoT trades toughness damage for raw HP damage, but it can't hit the ceilings it needs to because it takes too long to get started. What the archetype NEEDS is a way of stacking DoT's/Arcana faster, as that's what the team does best. Heck, let's look at enemies. Kafka trigger's all DoT's, right? Why not a fast-moving 5* Bleed unit that stacks Bleed in the same way enemies do to us? Fast Arcana stacks, Black Swan's Ult counts those Bleed stacks as all DoT varieties, and Kafka can explode those DoT's for massive frontloaded damage.

Jade and Argenti go really well together. Yunli and huohuo go really well together. Feixiao and robin go really well together. Firefly and ruan mei go really well together. Up next follow up sustain with a follow up buffer and debuffer and a planar set that buffs summons... What do lingsha and topaz have.. summons. Are we seeing a pattern here ?

Adventure over lingsha 100% supports are op and tanks that can provide the entire team shields and still dish out dps is amazing. He's perfect for my IPC only team + Robin (Until they release an support IPC to replace her. Learning for my years of playing MMO's Preemptive healing is better than reactive healing! Plus waiting a turn to out-speed, turn skip or zerk- mechanics (ones that push combat readiness of enemies) is better in the long run. Set and forget and on top of being able to reapply his shield with his ult with E1 makes life a breeze. Adventurine all the way for me but break teams are strong and Lingsha will always be viable. Pull what you like/ want! Not whats meta. Good luck with your pulls ladies and gentlemen.

As as Acheron, Firefly and Feixiao main, I agree with all of this. The three of them are very strong, but each used for different situations, Acheron being the most versatile of them. I'm considering getting her E2, but I haven't decided yet

I just hope when we get the new inevitable DOT char they don’t just make them Kafka 2.0 when we still need a dedicated DOT support and sustain.

Feixiaio doesn't need 3 premium unit though, as topaz can be replaced by march and aventurine by gallagher, or any other sustain with high frequency attack in the future. The only sustain she really need to shine is robin, but even then the same can be said about Acheron and Jiaoqiu, she really gained a lot from him. So overall she is not worse than acheron, in that regard, at all.

Assuming TY sp is still nihility and it is said to be superbreak enabler like HMC , how good is E2S1 Acheron with TY sp + RM + either Gallagher or Linghsa ? TY sp been a superbreak but Nihility instead of harmony, does this means hoyo intentionally made her Nihility for Acheron ? I mean why of all paths they choose to make her Nihility, this is all assuming she is indeed Nihility and not harmony

I plan to pull her on the rerun. I am fua playstyle main so yes I have feixiao. I had the premium team so i save pulls there. I didn't enjoy break playstyle, but I made a break himeko playstyle for that content. I pulled Jq cause I loved him, but he's her best support and built pela for her. All to go with Archeron. I guess her rerun is in 2.6. So luck in me hopefully getting an E0S1 archeron soon. I liked having both Aoe and St damage. Also I still use my jingliu for ice content in moc.

Acheron is the biggest cope of this community, simply bcs she does big dmg per screenshot, but she is just good at e0s0, nothing crazy, and thats bcs she needs Nihility characters, and they have always been the 2nd tier of supports, always below Harmony. There's also the fact that her damage numbers have a giant distortion since she still does damage to dead enemies if they die during her ult. Don't get me wrong, she's still a really good DPS, but she is below Firefly and Feixiao, sometimes even below Yunli, all on their best scenarios. I guess that's what happens when 90% of the community pulls her LC, and almost half the people pull for her eidolons. Nobody gets a grasp of the baseline character .

Main problem with Acheron is that unless you're playinf Dotcheron. Her team damage is almost non existent. If you look at Firefly and Feixiao, their entire team does a shit ton of damage. Acheron i think will still be a strong character moving forward but i dont think she remains a T0 character by the time we reach 3.0
