I believe she will be meta in all content, there will always be new nihility characters for her. Elemental weakness not that relevant to her plus her energy can't be drained like the others. as long as you have the right team for her.

Tbh this applies to Firefly and Feixiao anyways too. Firefly was the start of the pure superbreak style like Acheron was for nihility, so she and Feixiao will continue to get better as more supports release for their styles as well, and all of them ignore weakness alike

Acheron is my "Go To" in higher difficulty levels of Divergent universe such as Protocol 8. Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Ruan Mei and Aventurine. I am seriously considering E2 Acheron, and I also kinda want to pull Aventurine's LC. I use Ruan Mei in higher difficulties because I need to quickly break enemies' toughness.

From what little I know, Acheron will age well in 3.0+, which apparently favors blast and AoE attacks. With Jiaoqiu (I have an E1 Jiaoqiu), Acheron - I have an E0S1 Acheron; would have gotten E2S1 Acheron if I had won two 50/50s in a row, like I did with my E2S1 Firefly - is now very good in Pure Fiction as well as in Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow. I have another rare unit who is good in all three endgame modes, Yunli. I have an E0S1 Yunli and have tested her, like I have with Acheron, in all three endgame modes. I have an E0S0 Feixiao with Dr. Ratio's signature light cone, and am enjoying using her in Divergent Universe Protocols. But, as a hunt unit, I don't think she does well in Pure Fiction without at least one erudition unit (or Lingsha), and may not fare so well in 3.x.

Feixiaio doesn't need 3 premium unit though, as topaz can be replaced by march and aventurine by gallagher, or any other sustain with high frequency attack in the future. The only sustain she really need to shine is robin, but even then the same can be said about Acheron and Jiaoqiu, she really gained a lot from him. So overall she is not worse than acheron, in that regard, at all.

acheron needs her lightcone, just like fei xiao . as a e0s0 player with a friend who has s1, its like a 100k ulti dmg difference and u can start to feel it without the dmg buffs from moc.

I also have e0s0, what's low damage to you? Because I still get 500k ults from Acheron, at e0s0 you just need to make sure your debuffers are fast, 160 speed or above.

@@Sable813the screenshot damage isnt bad but without the extra stack gain, total damage is not amazing. Jiaoqiu definitely helped (I tried to tell people how good he was lol) but she’s still behind Feixiao and Firefly at e0s0.

She’s an absolute beast, especially with Jiaoqiu. It’s very satisfying to see 1 million + ults. And having 100% AOE is very good for any content She doesn’t struggle with bosses, she shreds AOE, she oneshots with her technique. On my account I would say she’s even better than Firefly tbh. Like 1 million damage from the start of the battle? Love to see it. Can’t wait to get E2

Crazy sup I've come up with for Acheron. A preservation unit that makes the enemy atk them whenever a debuff is inflicted upon them, so when they hit the Preserv unit, they take a debuff and further boosting the speed at which acheron can charge her ult. How this unit sustain is when an enemy strikes, for every debuff on them, the team gains a shield x the amount of debuffs. A harmony debuff centric unit for this archetype would be like robin, when a debuff is applied, it would be beneficial to make then take damage like how robin works or reduce toughness. Even is make her the opposite of Jiaoqiu and allows her to apply a debuff whenever an ally takes their turn. She cut in like Luocha and just debuff the enemy.

i think it would be cool if there is is a nihility character that spread def debuff lik a plague if the enemie gets a turn and a sustainer that shields the team and if someone (that is shielded) gets damage, the one who attacks get also a deff debuff so with those debuffs and jiaugiu acheron gets 3 stacks of her ult when ONE enemie gets a turn, and im not even talking about their own and acherons attacks that gives her more stacks for her ult if she gets a team like that she could use her ult like a normal skill, that would be insane btw E1 fu xuan is also great for her, 12% crit rate plus 30% crit damage is pretty good for her its also insane how strong she is without her fullest potential

Acheron will be top tier for a while still. She's a multiple enemy hitter, that in itself is a great thing. Grabbing her e2 will be a great investment since she's already e1 s1 (got stupid luck on her and cone banner but that was the only "crazy" summons I've had in over a yr) not hating btw bc that means I'm due soon haha

I plan to pull her on the rerun. I am fua playstyle main so yes I have feixiao. I had the premium team so i save pulls there. I didn't enjoy break playstyle, but I made a break himeko playstyle for that content. I pulled Jq cause I loved him, but he's her best support and built pela for her. All to go with Archeron. I guess her rerun is in 2.6. So luck in me hopefully getting an E0S1 archeron soon. I liked having both Aoe and St damage. Also I still use my jingliu for ice content in moc.

Whatever the case. I never regret investing all my saved up jades for an E2 Acheron on her release. She cleared everything before I got the premium supports/utilities. Can't wait for her rerun to get that E6.

I totally agree with you. Feixiao is already at her peak dmge on release with her dedicated 5* team while acheron only has jiaoqiu as her dedicated support. Can't wait for a 5* limited preservation and harmony that fully synergizes with her ult stacking kit.

She is insanely good to best in all 3 mode thus far, only has one support that is a catalyst for her Achetype. People keep arguing that she has peak, but its not even close. This whole debacle is the same with Jingliu and DhIl back in the day. They kept getting compared and jing would edge out with the extra premium units that works with her, but dhil just has better ceiling.

Aventurine and Gallagher were definitely meant to support vast majority of characters releasing in 2.x yeah its not the most ideal but both are top tier options for Acheron depending on lightcone options(Gallagher Post OP Conversation and Aventurine Trend or Unjust Destiny). Acheron not really lacking premium supports honestly character doesn't need to work "perfectly" to be a powerful support even Ruan Mei doesn't work perfectly with Firefly yet superbreak team is still one of the best teams. Acheron with Jiaoqiu and Black Swan or Kafka or Silver Wolf which is good coverage for all 3 game modes Apocalyptic Shadow, PF and MOC. Topaz is not the definitive support for Feixiao in every situation so I would call that perfect either tbh March and Moze can surpass her in certain situations. Firefly is the only dps where you feel a lack of good options.

Pretty much Firefly is forced to be used alongside HMC to work, which I don't mind as they're a character everyone has and can E6, it would be different if she needed a limited 5 Star support.

Totally agree, my e0s0 Acheron pops off with Pela, Gepard and Guinaifen. Who else puts up tier 0 damage with f2p team like her? Feixiao comparably wants Robin, Topaz and Aventurine. Firefly needs Ruan Mei. Yunli wants Robin and Huohuo. Acheron meanwhile takes lesser value teammates and makes them into a meta team. She also allows you to stack your 2nd team with OP harmony supports since she doesn't need them.

I kinda wonder if hoyo will release a sustainer just for debuffing. For example, we already have luocha who removes buffs and now imagine a sustainer who is similar but adds debuffs and scales of sustain state instead of atk.

I can imagine a preservation unit that can inflict a debuff on the enemy whenever a unit with a shield gets hit. Aventurine with Trend is the closest thing to that vision.

i was so proud of my 90 crit rate / 133 crit dmg. doing between 120-200K dmg per ult. Then i saw how a support acheron did 90K with a basic attack and 1400000 damage with her ult....

Jade and Argenti go really well together. Yunli and huohuo go really well together. Feixiao and robin go really well together. Firefly and ruan mei go really well together. Up next follow up sustain with a follow up buffer and debuffer and a planar set that buffs summons... What do lingsha and topaz have.. summons. Are we seeing a pattern here ?

@usubenidango you literally don't Need her best team for her to perform since fei beats Her not only in Dmg but also for f2p teams and LC.If we talk about team cost fei also Beats acheron on multi targets and single target boss too(especially if we talk about 0 cycle) She can also 0 cycle with no Robin and with a f2p LC,acheron can't achieve that.She needs Her lightcone,jiaoqui with his LC Robin and a flex spot for even be compared to fei performance not to mention that acheron e2 can't even keep up against fei e0 if we talk about team cost for both 0 cycle and not.Acheron Is like baal from genshin,you need to over invest on her and her support to compete against fei/FF/boothill the only One i don't have is boothill,but when an acheron e0s0 with 70 rate and 230% crit Dmg can't compete against fei and ff e0s0 in clears that's a really bad problem.

RUAN MEI is not super break signature her 68% damage buff changes nothing in SUPER BREAK, she more of a for everyone support even her lightcone which adds another 40% damage boost is useless on super break, while both jiaquio and robin give every thing in their kit for the team, but i doubt they would make a limited harmony exclusive to Super Break unless its a character that fully focuses on ALL TYPE RES PEN which would benefit all damage types in the game

I think more than anything you shouldn't worry about clearing content since you're of course new to the game. You could get them if you have luck. It's best to prioritize Aventurine tho I think because he is an amazing sustain. Dps characters there will always be a lot of new ones so if you don't end up getting acheron it's still okay. Sustains don't really come out as much and don't get power crept as much either.

Plus there are a lot of teams you can stick him in and a lot of nice lightcones to have him on compared to acheron where the option aren't always the best and easy to get. In the end though it's pull for who you want of course. That's what matters the most, if you're happy with the character.

Feixiao is just better than Acheron in MoC and AS, but still Acheron is still great as you can use her whitout an harmony character which free them up for your other teams completely. She also can be played easily with Kafka, BS and Ruan Mei too so that's something. She'll be relevant for the foreseable future, it's just that Feixiao is better for MoC and AS.

Main problem with Acheron is that unless you're playinf Dotcheron. Her team damage is almost non existent. If you look at Firefly and Feixiao, their entire team does a shit ton of damage. Acheron i think will still be a strong character moving forward but i dont think she remains a T0 character by the time we reach 3.0

These Feixiao comparisons people make seem a little disingenuous to me, they always hinge on seemingly this idea that there will never ever be other premium follow up characters that work well with her added to the game again or that every 5 star unit will raise comps up exponentially in some huge way. Topaz doesn't raise Feixiao up exponentially compared to Moze or March, she just makes her a little bit better, not some disgusting levels better. Lingsha will raise up the break team, but Gallagher is still a very good unit. These standout 4 stars aren't shit and they aren't done adding follow up units to the game so the whole argument falls flat on its ass.

Acheron is the biggest cope of this community, simply bcs she does big dmg per screenshot, but she is just good at e0s0, nothing crazy, and thats bcs she needs Nihility characters, and they have always been the 2nd tier of supports, always below Harmony. There's also the fact that her damage numbers have a giant distortion since she still does damage to dead enemies if they die during her ult. Don't get me wrong, she's still a really good DPS, but she is below Firefly and Feixiao, sometimes even below Yunli, all on their best scenarios. I guess that's what happens when 90% of the community pulls her LC, and almost half the people pull for her eidolons. Nobody gets a grasp of the baseline character .

The biggest issue is that DoT units don't have a support that boosts their damage. It is also why Dot teams are falling behind FUA and Super Break teams right now.

At E0S0 I would have agreed with you, especially Acheron E0S0 being just decent. But all at their best scenario? You're kinda coping as well ngl. I have 2 accounts, my first one has Acheron E0S1, Aventurine E0S1 Landau, Jiaoqiu E0S1, Pela E2S2 Pearl. My other account has Firefly E0S1, Ruan Mei E0S1, Gallagher E6S5 QPQ, Harmony MC E6S5 Memories and Yunli E0S1, Robin E0S1, Tingyun E2S1 DDD, Huohuo E0S1 Post Op. All of them have relatively equal relics investment since I stopped building my Acheron team a long time ago and couldn't be bothered to farm anymore. I find it easiest to clear MoC and AS with Acheron and Firefly, with Yunli being the hardest even in the MoC and AS designed FOR FuA. I can't comment much on Feixiao since I don't have her, but I'd assume she's equal to Acheron and Firefly with her premium team. At their best, Acheron, Firefly, and most likely Feixiao are at an equal level, Yunli being a tier below them. Again, AT THEIR BEST SCENARIO. I ain't arguing that Acheron is ass at E0S0, I've experienced that first hand. But you lost me at "all at their best scenario" and then saying Acheron is below Yunli

I also said "Yunli is better depending on the enemy lineup", which I don't think it's an absurd argument. Super fast enemies are a terrible match for Acheron but the best for Yunli. My point was not to say one is better than the other, just give evidence that Acheron is not as omnipotent as the community seems to think, that in certain scenarios, other DPS overpower her. Yunli was just an example because I've experienced her clearing faster than Acheron, you can slot any other top tier DPS in my sentence and the point stands.

Acheron being brain-dead easy to play with big damage per screenshot numbers is why the community has such skewed and biased opinions towards her. Don't get me wrong she's still strong enough to be a top 5 dps but her days of being number 1 are behind her. Currently the top 5 dps in the game are - 1. Feixiao (undisputed best, a true damage per second unit, has flexible teams to combat any type of content, also she doesn't care much about crit damage stat as she gets it from her teammates and set bonuses making her a bit easier to build as well) 2. Firefly (as much as I don't like her, she's undoubtedly hoyo's favourite child and has a lot of content catered towards her and the entire superbreak concept is just broken as everyone on the team is doing damage, just like FuA) 3. Yunli (this was a sleeper hit, she's proving to be incredibly strong and consistent throughout all game modes, a solid unit all-round, the meta being catered to FuA/counter is another reason why she's up here) 4. Boothill (Mr. Forgotten, but meta players know his potential and he is undoubtedly one of the best if you know what you're doing, he's also the only unit that has 0 Cycle without a light cone. Also he can be played in both Traditional break as well as Superbreak teams while being super easy to build, he does struggle in PF but thats quite literally the only thing that stops him going higher on this list) 5. Acheron (Easy to play, no brain required, works in all gamemodes, she's very investment heavy tho needs very good relics, at e0 S0 she's nothing special, she's practically an Argenti with rainbow toughness dmg ult. She is the only unit on the team that's doing damage unless you're playing DoTcheron and even that variant of her team isn't quite as powerful as the FuA Mafia or the Superbreak Cartel)

Assuming TY sp is still nihility and it is said to be superbreak enabler like HMC , how good is E2S1 Acheron with TY sp + RM + either Gallagher or Linghsa ? TY sp been a superbreak but Nihility instead of harmony, does this means hoyo intentionally made her Nihility for Acheron ? I mean why of all paths they choose to make her Nihility, this is all assuming she is indeed Nihility and not harmony
